It will probably be less exciting than you think, and revolve around how GTA makes kids go on killing sprees...

I thought they talk about that in public schools, not college where you pay thousands of dollars.
Good luck, I'm hardly thinking of college right now (well, I know which ones I want to go to (top three, der), but know I probably won't get in so am going for second rate (which is better than 96% of Americans get -.-))

I applied to one university pretty close to home, and that's it. Of course I got 1490 combined for Math and Verbal on the SATs, and I'm not sure if colleges even look at your writing scores on the SATs. It's kind of silly because you have to include an essay or portfolio most of the time which indicates what kind of writer you are. I'd never say just apply to a college. My university has excellent writing and music programs. Of course, if you don't know what you'll want to get into eventually, a larger university is probably the way to go, but many smaller schools have specific strengths that make individual majors better at those colleges than at the big state schools.

Nowdays, Colleges/Universities only care about one thing:
Your money.

A friend of mine got here with essentially no costs involved, and this school costs a base amount of something like $40,000 a year.

Man I feel cheap going to a community college for m first 2 years. For my first semester I only paid 26.75 outta my own pocket for tuition and then I paid for books which still beats paying for tuition.

I think having any part of you being asian reduces your chances because according to many colleges and universities asians are overly represented in proportion to the actual population of asians living here

Well, I suppose I need to start thinking about college... what do they look for when accepting? I reckon I can get pretty damn high on the SAT, considering I took it once two or three years ago (didn't do too great, but beat 70% of others taking it, including many people in grades above me, in math), but what else is needed? Are special courses more likely to get me in? Clubs? (I refuse to do community service until I get to know my new community better)

Affirmative action is racism. It is almost as bad as murdering six million Jews.

Didn't you know? Hitler didn't get into his college of choice because of affirmative action.
