I forget... (and I googled around a bit, yes):
Is there any difference between elite vs pro besides the color, 60 extra gigs, and the included HDMI cable?

And is the 60 gigs even necessary if there's no downloading movies involved?

None.

Thigh high affectionado

I got the pro, and unless you have 30 games that require save files (Who buys that many these days), and you're at most 2 people using it, you wont run out of space. I download a lot of demos, have 7 games (All which require saves), and my bro plays on it too (All the games as well) and its fine. Elite is for the rich, and color picky, thats about it.

You can also rip the games onto the harddrive for better load times, but you still have to have the disk in.

No, either. It's just one reason to want more space.

Thanks for insulting my collection of over 35 Xbox games (for the normal one).

How much space does the pro have? I have the regular one with only 10 GBs... :(

Pro now has 60 gigs, compared to elite with 120. Not that big of a difference anymore.
I used to have an elite, but I think I'm going to go pro, despite the fact I love the black (as all my electronics is black). Probably pick up an extra game or two.

You people are lucky :P

For Christmas, me and my 2 brothers got the arcade, which comes with a whopping 256MB!

Been begging for my parents to get me an external hardrive. Can you buy them at stores?

I have the Elite, and most of my space goes to uploading countless amounts of mp3s. Actually, not countless, but around 2,000 songs and growing, yet still having 97.8 GB to spare. Once I get some money down on my balance, I will be downloading a lot of songs for the Rock Band games. My friend has downloaded 120 songs for Rock Band (2) using only the original 12GB hard drive, and now it is full. So, he will be switching to the Elite hard drive very soon. Your do not have to sell the whole Elite just to get the Pro's hard drive.

You can buy a whole new hard drive. GameStop & Best Buy should be your best bet.

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
