Bad doodle! bad! Don't just get a distortion. Get at least a small effect processor pedal.
They're waaaay much better. If you get distortion you will later want more effects and you will most likely not buy all of them in separate pedals (although sometimes the quality of buying the separately is better) but I'd rather pay 3 times for what I'd pay for a single pedal for around a 30 effects.
I can give you recommendations if you give me a budget just like I advised farty with his guitar :3
