Anyone ever encounter this crash-to-desktop error before? I was conducting some tests in a simple test mod, so I've only changed two things in Units.dat and am using FireGraft to make the auto-loader. I'm going to isolate each change and see what the cause is. Just curious if I've "discovered" a new named error. =oP

Interesting. I replicated the crash, but this time it's "script 1663". I made the Engineering Bay "Require Psi", and everything worked as I'd hoped. Then I tested destroying the Pylon and rebuilding it. The game crashes after the Pylon is rebuilt, but only if you select the Engineering Bay. Seems it doesn't know how to handle re-powering the building, yet it shut down ("unpowered") just fine when the Pylon was first lost.
