Okay, so my brother, a member here on SEN, just left me for college, and now I have absolutely nothing to do in my spare time, and I am getting really bored. I've tried Guitar Halo, and after beating TTFATF on expert with five stars, I ruled that out. Next up was halo, and after earning every medal possible, and beating the campaign on every level... twice, I ruled that out as well. Now, I'm looking for a hobby that is relatively free, and that anyone can pick up... Any suggestions?

Weight lifting. It's beneficial to both body and mind. Also try sports and such. Another thing you should get into is Aggressive Skating, feels so GOOOOOOOOOD!

How about something to MAKE you money in your spare time that would be fun and rewarding at the same time? For example, if you know a lot about car parts or something, go to eBay and buy parts that are selling for low prices and put 'em back on or buy lots and sell them individually on eBay.

Or you could try to make some friends to replace your brother.

Alternatively you could spend your food money towards cooking, it's fun, rewarding, and healthy. Just find recipes online.

In my off time, I do one of these three things:
Physical - Weightlifting, sports etc
Mental - I try to learn more, and teach myself new things. Or read.
Starcraft - Mostly Map Making

It'll take a while to learn, but computer programming is surprisingly fun.

If you just want something to do for fun, I reccomend MechQuest, a bizzarre-yet-epic online RPG.

I also started reading a lot of wikipedia articles, current events, etc. Really interesting.

I'm a b-boy (break dancer, but most of the b-boying community hates that term). Pick up breaking, or popping, if you like that better. Or do both. The best way to learn is to find a b-boy in your area and ask them to teach you. Most b-boys are willing to teach someone else, if they have spare time. If that's not possible, or you can't find one in your area, the next best place is online. The largest bboying community. Have fun.

Or you can watch tv all day. That's fun for a while too.

Oh, the joys of living in an apartment complex with free access to a weight room ( albeit a very, very lame one. ... thinking on it, the one available to me is probably a waste of time compared to bodyweight exercises ) .
Swimming could be an option. Programming for computers. Drawing. 3D modelling. Animating. Learning a language, maybe? ( I've always wanted to learn German. D: )
