This is a picture of one of the heroes spell area, and the player seems to be charging gas (energy) by standing on the zerg beacon with their defiler..
Well playing the game is pretty simple, theirs a number coded in [ ] in every spell so ie: Thunder Fist [200], this represents the cost to use this following spell costs 200 gas (energy) but you must place your defiler back on the beacon after every spell except for a few ones that I need to be explaining about that aren't used in any other maps if was used was stolen from me, I recently updated this map however it was made for a VERY VERY long time.
What are the excluded spells? - These spells aren't exactly excluded, just the fact that you have to remain on the beacon longer. Now has anyone ever played classic budokai on starcraft? If so you realize that when a player uses "multi ki blast" the person basically just goes on the beacon and dragoons are spawned for like the next 10 seconds. Now on my map if you want to cast the dragoons which is called "Lightning Beam" instead you have to remain on the beacon and pay up to 5 gas (energy) per second to keep them their or if you tag out, their automatically removed. The dragoons stay for as long as you want them to stay until the following things have applied: 0 energy, tagged your partner, or you simply get off the beacon. You will also notice some Lightning Beams owned by certain players are stronger than others, for example a character "Acid Dragon" would have 6 upgrades on them while the zealot Tsuarku has 0.
Follow-up - The next spell on the list is Shocking Particle that has a powerup next to it saying [15 per second] meaning it costs 15 gas (energy) per second and what it does basically is you need your defiler on the beacon and the arena then is filled with cannons attacking every area except for 2 blind spots, the cannons are same as the dragoons. As long as you have enough gas (energy), or decide to stay on it the spell can't cancel but the difference is you can use this spell while you are healing in the tag area.
Most interesting spell in game - Now if you ever played classic budokai you realize they have this "Full power" spell and only once a game. Well in this map instead of Full power we have "Reflect Attack [A x 2]". Every hero has this spell. What it does is that it can reflect your enemy's attack back at them. Now to operate it, If your enemy uses a spell lets say "Charged Laser Beam [150]". Before the spell is casted your defiler must be readied on the beacon of Reflect Attack [A x 2], now if then the spell of your enemy spawns you have to have atleast 300 gas to steal his spell and thus the spell belongs to you until expiration. Charged Laser Beam costs 150 and is a battlecruiser that normally stays for 1 hit but since you've stolen it with that spell it has a 65% chance to hit twice instead of once. Now the gas costs 300 because the original cost was 150, realize the [A x 2] represents Attack x 2, as well as gas x 2. However some spells are forbidden to be stolen. Each hero has only 500 gas as their energy pool. Lets say a spell costs 260, you can't reflect it because that comes out to be 520 gas and you don't have that much. Their are also some other spells that cannot be stolen, such as transformations, summons, and very weak costing spells. So no lightning beams can be stolen nor shocking particle, no transformations or attacking summons can be stolen no matter how brief it is. The excluded summon spell that can be stolen though is "Magica Aul" which is a infested terran. Tsuarku's blade transformation only lasts for 2 second tops but even so it cannot be stolen since it is a transformation. Now this spell that Tsuarku owns appears to have 3 on 1 beacon, a wraith, a scout, and a siege tank. Totaled up this spell costs 410 gas but each of them are divided, the wraith costs 110, the scout costs 200, and the siege tank cost 100. If you plan to reflect attack you can steal whichever one is activated at the time and pay the double amount for that specific spell.
This is a picture of the Acid Shuffle area however the character itself was not chosen.
Acid Dragon Spell "Acid Shuffle" and Transformations - Acid Dragon has a clone spell that replaces your hero with other acid dragons, when using this spell you will have up to 1 real acid dragon clone and 3 other hallucinations. No heroes are allowed to tag in transformation so don't be a dummy and spam "OMG I CAN'T TAG" if your "Acid Dragon" isn't what it appears to be, the clone stays on the arena until it dies then your hero will re-appear. Acid Shuffle was designed if your enemy found out your real Acid Dragon CLONE was on the arena you can simply pay 200 gas and all your clones will be swapped in places also being fully healed.
Besides those changes above why should I choose to play your game rather than any other budokai game? - Sometimes fags join your game when you play, they will purposely leave on countdown or leave in briefing just to be a fag, but in my map, their are Ai Bots that take over empty slots, however the players are limited, their is already 3 player slots on each team that adds up to 6 players, and leaving only 2 computers I was only able to design 2 bots. These 2 bots can ONLY APPEAR ON Sakato slot, and Titanium slot in the lobby room. The bot naturally plays 75% like a pro budokai player, however each game you play with bots they have a level that varies at random. from level 6 difficulty to level 10 difficulty. You can't tell what level they are in game besides looking at how they play. The bot will tag naturally but sometimes they lack the ability to realize their at low health to tag their partners so in which case I've made a "auto computer tag" at some area on the top left side of the map. Their will be a small box with dirt terrain and a crystal their labeled "Computer Tag" and next to it will be civilians. However if you plan to control the bots to tag you, you have to stay on the Computer Tag crystal until the computer tags you, if you move away your civilian anytime before it tags you, the bot will abandon the command and continue fighting. Now after it tags you, your civilian will still be on the crystal by default so to avoid conflicts you should move it off after it has tagged you.
This is a picture of the Computer Tag area but no civilians are their for the same reason, the required players were not chosen
What if I'm afk and my bot tags me or my partner tags me? - Besides your partner dying in battle and your forced to the field you can choose to "Switch off" your tag which is located right under the arena where you can turn off your tag but it ONLY EFFECTS YOUR BEACON so your allies are not effected if their is a third player in the other healing square.
This is a picture of the tagging area
Each player has 2 lives, if any questions please contact me here or on USeast on bnet, thanks for downloading!
