This channel is an organization by me, later Clokr and others, to revive of what map night originally used to be. This should get rid of the annoying, yet always, Phantom and Uberena hosted every Friday night.
Any map can be hosted, and be reminded that the rule in the channel is to not spam and of course, don't host the same map over and over again...
No hacking at all. Never, or you are banned from Op MapNight.
2. Stop host hogging. You are not special, anyone can host as long if they don't keep hosting constantly leaving others not able to host.
3. Don't host the same map over and over again. It's going to get old quick.
4. Ignore those independent players trying to steal the spotlight and dragging you to another channel by calling it "Mod Night", the channel is Op MapNight and that is where you SHOULD stay.
5. Don't host a map where you alone are most likely to win against everyone else.

Those maps were the best, problem was that the ones you hosted always had a male picture.
Anyways, regarding the creation of a new channel, I'd advise against it. You'd be essentially splitting the people, so there will be less players and possibly games played. Just stick in the usual channel and host some maps; if people don't like them then they shouldn't join and there's nothing wrong with that. I'll bet a few of the Überena and Phantom players will be willing to play some other maps.

Yup. If things get too bad then you can just easily ignore them. Someone who is talking bad about another person just looks like he is talking alone which makes you wonder if the person is crazy or stupid. Map Night is supposed to be a place where people gather toghether and show their work. It's not an "Un-Official Überena Tournament".
