I know there's a topic about looking for a game, but I didn't want to hijack his/her thread and his/her demands were a little different from this:
I have a lot of games that get boring really fast. Does anyone any decent games out there that won't bore me out in 1 or 2 hours/days. Also FPS games, a game with no story or very vague story, and horrible graphics are out of the question. Every FPS I play are all generally the same with no unique aspect to it. I absolutely hate War and Slow paced games. Example: Gears of war - All you did was Hide and shoot; fell asleep on it after 20 minutes >_>...
If you suggest a MMO; note I hate MMO's where all you do is Grind, quests that make you go back n forth, have basically no storyline that pops out unless you read the NPC's 2-4 pages of text, stand in one place and fight(which basically rules out every MMO
).
I have/tried these:Starcraft: BW
Diablo 1&2:LOD
Halo 1, 2, 3
Timeshift
Hellgate London
CS & CS:S
Team Fortress 2
Warcraft 1, 2, 3:TFT
WoW
Guild Wars (All Campaigns)
Fable
Oblivion & Shivering Isles
Rohan: Blood Fued
Cabal Online
Metin 2
Trickster o.O
Perfect World
Granada Espada(Sword of the New World)
2Moons
GunZ
Sins Of A Solar Empire
C&C(All)
Some others I can't remember. Of course, some of the games mentioned here, I probably didn't play more then 2 hours. Guess I'm looking for something different.

None.
I was going to suggest Oblivion, and then I saw that you already had it on your list. Ok, here's what I'd suggest: Bioshock, Crysis, and Knights of the Old Republic.
None.
Crysis, although a FPS, is suppose to be like, the holy god of FPS's. It's the #1 FPS out there, currently. I would try:
Command And Conquer
City of Heroes/City of Villains
Sam and Max
Sins of a Solar Empire
Supreme Cammander
Maybe, like, some sorta Warhammer game. I dunno.
And i can't think of any others, currently.
None.
RESIDENT EBIL GAMES, start with four and if you beat that work your way bawkwards and then get RE:5 ;D
Resident evil has a great storyline imo, thats what your looking for right?
None.

Didn't mention: Sins of a Solar Empire and C&C(All). I'll look at the others though. Thx.
Never played the 1st one, should I play that before this or does it matter?

Yes, good story and gameplay, I'll check this out too. Thx.
None.
While you say MMOs are off the table, EVE is an MMO that does not follow the same old playbook. I'd also recommend Sins of a Solar Empire if you like SC or Civilization IV.
None.
He already said he has Sins of a Solar empire. and Far Cry is a FPS btw.
None.
You can't be overly concerned with good graphics if your playing SC...
None.
Try the Homeworld series. Its a strategy game set in space. I recommend Homeworld 1 if you want better gameplay vs graphics, and if you prefer graphics more, then get Homeworld 2. Just make sure you download mods for Homeworld 2, because 90% of the mods out there are better then the actual game.
If anything cool is ever going on Skype me up under the name "blarghle"
Bioshock, Dead Rising, Mass Effect
None.
Not many ppl seem to be listening to you, listing off a lot of FPS's.
What about Oblivion?
None.
I honestly can't believe you say GoW was slow paced (unless campaign, that was kind of slow :S). I've had great moments on XL. Anyway, I've been playing an okay FPS, made by Nexon (people who made MapleStory I believe). It's called Combat Arms, it's totally free and it's got some decent maps, a clan system, a money system (which I kind of hate because you purchase weapons by time (day, 2 days, week, month) and I guess it keeps you playing but it gets aggravating when you get seriously poor lol.
None.
If you just like space combat in general, I'd try Nexus: The Jupiter Incident.
None.
More FPS...how about instead of convincing him thats hes wrong you try thinking of something else?
None.
Bioshock, Dead Rising, Mass Effect
Mass Effect wasnt that good...and you can't tell me you want to go back and play it through again.
None.
You didn't like Mass Effect? And I've already started my second play through...
None.

Oblivion is a FPS too... lol
Bioshock is a FPS, but not in the sense that there's multiplayer, etc. It's more about a great story, which is something he wants.
It's more of in the same category with Oblivion, both technically FPS's not not like your stereotypical Halo or Counterstrike game.
None.
