I believe that icon links to whatever your default internet browser is, and when you installed Fx, it became your default.

What do you mean, 'equal'. You want it to randomize which browser starts when starting up or something? If you want an IE icon, just go into the IE directory, create a shortcut, and put it on the desktop. The icon that changed is just your default browser, that leads to firefox - it's not actually a firefox shortcut.

The original IE shortcut was the shortcut for what Windows defaults for opening web pages. When you start Firefox up, it'll ask you if you want to make Firefox the default for web pages. By saying yes, that IE shortcut changes back to Firefox. To get IE back to the default, just start IE. It'll tell you that it isn't the default browser and give you the option of making it the default browser.

Why so serious?

Then you mean to have IE as your default browser. because that's what the Internet icon displays. It isn't a shortcut.
Make a seperate IE shortcut if you want Firefox as your default but to have both links. In fact, I would just make two shortcuts and delete the "Internet" one, it's redundant. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And the stance that we take isn't much to bear Yeah, we leave things to change on their time And our failure to care for it leaves us blind 'til we're tired and we're crazed in the mind I've been, I've been silent |
