Classic, Freedom and Challenge are the best words to describe DCD.
It's classic in terms of gameplay. Enemies spawn and move to the destination through your defenses. They don't attack as long as you don't wall them. You receive civilians as a reward for killing enemies. You buy more units for civilians. Like I said, It's classic.
You have almost unlimited Freedom in DCD. Via Mind Control you can access to almost any unit in the game. You can brainstorm dozens of successful tactics how to play. Nothing will stand in your way if you want to try something new and crazy.
Challenge! Even if you're a pro defense player, this map will probably be the biggest challenge that you have ever played. It's fair easy for the first 10 levels, beatable till 20th, hard till 30th and totally insane further on till level 70. I have a theory that it is beatable, but I haven't played such a successful game yet. So yea, pro defense players, here is something for you.

»» Players
1-6 players. While you can actually play alone, it's really recommended to play with your friends. The optimal player count is 4-6. If you play for fun, go for 6, but if you concern about kill stealing to much go with 4. A civilian bonus is granted to all players depending on the player count. Less players, bigger bonus.
»» Tileset and size
96x96 Desert, it's rather compact.
No external sounds used, so filesize is only 70.3Kb.
[ Features ]
»» Wizards & Overlords
You play either as dragon wizard or dragon overlord. 4 main players(overlords) can buy most of the defensive units and defend the Dragon Utopia with army strength. Wizards have access to all kinds of spell-casters and some defensive units. Both players must combine their abilities to successfully protect the Dragon Utopia.
»» Combos
This feature allows you to combine your existing units into much stronger hero units. There are lots of combos available and I will consider any new suggestion for combos. Right now there are 17 combos in the map.
»» Random bonuses
Each player gets a random bonus on levels {5; 15; 25; 35; 45; 55; 65}. All bonuses are not equally useful, so you got to be lucky. But In the last few versions I have played around with the conditions a little, because people were complaining that they get useless bonuses all the time. For example you will get an academy only if you got marines to upgrade with it.
»» Ladder
The classic form of level ladder. 69 levels are shown in the ladder. Hey, you can see what the next level will be like.
»» Light & Stack
Light ON & OFF system allows you to stack turrets, cannons and other buildings. You will also notice that I made it so nobody can block your way in the light panel.
