More screenshots added to the Game Screenshots section of the first post:


All three of us were all in. My pair of aces won.


Straight on the river.


Other guy folded pre-flop to my 7 2 offsuit.


Four queens on the board and we have the same 10 kicker. :omfg:


Purple with a straight.


Both of us went all in with the same hand and split the pot.


Again both of us went all in with the same hand. Although his were suited for the second time.

You can either vote to ban a player or vote to turn a player's auto-fold on (which they can turn off again by unloading their auto-fold firebat).

Either vote requires 3 voters in a 4+ player game to pass and 2 votes in a 3 player game to pass. In a 2 player heads up game there's no real point in voting for anything so it just doesn't work.

Hello

one more question:
can you add a option at the beginning of the map to set if you always will see the cards from the other players who haven't fold and are after the last round?
what I mean is, after the river and it's bet-round, you should be able to see the cards from all remaining players

would be cool ;)

I originally had it like that but it follows the rules more closely if only the best hand is shown and the others are mucked. And it's better to allow people that right to have their hand mucked than to force them to show their cards when you could just ask them what they were.

In real life you're supposed to start showing your hand starting clockwise from the dealer or from the last person with aggressive action, but online poker is different since the computer knows which hand is best. To mimic the way it works in real life would over complicate things and ultimately it isn't necessary because the only reason it's like that in real life is because people need to have hands revealed to see who won.

I based it off of Robert's Rulers of Poker and this column written by the same guy.

How about a pre-turn move. Such as set it to call/check before your turn, and when it gets to your turn, it automatically does that. It would make the game move faster. But if someone where to bet, this would reset, and you would have to decide then.

you are allowed to decide how big X is, like with gateway, would be tons of triggers (again) but would be cool ;)

EDIT: I had the idea of a poker tournament with this map
6 players, to sign up cost 50 minerals
the player who won the poker-game will receive all minerals [50x6=300]
replay would be required so I can check if he didn't lie...
is it a good idea?

This seems like it's letting the player get really lazy and would make the controls overly complicated.

Sure, you can go ahead and host a tournament. It doesn't have to be limited to 6 players. You can have each game of 6 be a table and then take the winners from each table and have them player another game. Replays should always be saved, but should only be reviewed if there's a dispute. There should be enough honest losers in the game to verify that the same person won.

That would work, but I'd probably need to use that unit as a counter for the new action that's being added.

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
