I have the greatest game based on a game for the super nintendo [yes i still play it...]...

Everything that is not disallowed IS allowed -- that's ussually my policy.


If two maps come back with the same basic idea, then both will be marked down on originality. So, I suggest creating something authentic.

I haven't done one of these competitions before. Does everyone usually put their map in the production section or is it like a big secret when they all come out? My map is coming along with about 5 hours of work on it and I don't think anyone's is going to be anything like it. I just hope it is fun, that is the score I am most worried about....

What i can remember, there's usually only about 2 or 3 topics about competition maps. Making a topic can be quite useful, since you'll get feedback.
