Yeah, my map has over 2000 triggers, and I have to add a single condition to each of them, it's the simple switch one, clear trigger, but that would be hours and hours of work if I did it manually.
Is there a word processor that is able to appropriately copy/paste the " " they use in SCM Draft with the find and replace tool? So far MS Word only lets me use the tool for everything that is not bracketed. Anyone got any clever ideas? If I were able to do one ever 5 seconds, as is, then it would take well over a couple hours of straight max speed trigger work to do this, which I don't have time for.
So uhh, has anyone ever had to do this before? If so, how did you do it?
None.
Notepad ++ lets you do multiple lines when searching/replacing. Search for Conditions:, or whatever, then replace it with:
Conditions:
Deaths("blah",blah,blah);
You may have to press shift + enter to the the new line in the output box.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"

I also did that with MS Word XP (2002) too. But to allow special characters to be included you need to dig in the advanced options of the find/replace dialog. Maybe you have to use wildcards like this:
Replace
"Trigger( *
Bring * ");"
With
"Trigger( *
switch(Switch 1, Set);
Bring * ");"
I'm not entirely sure if that's the right formula, but I know I had this problem too once and I somehow managed to do it.
Thanks tons, I'll look in to this after school and see if I can get it to work

If you can find Devilesk's text trigger duplicator it is good for doing these things <.<.

Why 'find' it? It's in the Maplantis file database.
