Wiki is "done". And when I say done, I mean uploaded but untested and could implode on itself at any turn of a corner.
Changes from what you are used to at maplantis:
- Working drafts -- update an article without really updating it. Very useful for small edits. And please use as such.
- Easy history compare and view
- Table of contents floating on the side (might need to change)
- Discussion page
- Wiki articles are linked by article titles. Can produce clashes at the moment, but thinking about possible fixes
- Wiki anchors are linked by header text. It'll no longer change on you.
- Better use of the stub concept (use [stub] to mark an area as such)
Stuff I want to do later, needs fixing, etc:
- Text comparsion in history compare. Show what was deleted and what was added with ease. I almost had it down but then scrapped it to move on. Got code skills? Maybe you can help.
- Better images than my lul arrow and star
- Fix TOC
- Upload images directly on to SEN for wiki use
- Readd locks, hiding toc
- Discussion delete, pages
- Marking an article need reformat/rewrite/etc
- Marking versions as a "major" version change?
- Better search
Added the following bbcode to SEN, some of which you already saw recently:
- [table]...[/table]: still in testing, but should work in it's basic form
- [wiki]: examples: [wiki=article name]shown title[/wiki] [wiki]article name[/wiki]
- [encase] [encasebox]: like quotes/code/codebox but without the overlying header
- [h1] [h2] [h3]: what you expect
- [float=x]: floating div, sometimes produces lul effects when in the area of other divs. x = left or right.
- [collapse]: collapsible box
- [stub]: marks an area as a stub
Leaving to come back soon hopefully. Next in line: minor bug fixes that popped up all over sen (signatures, store, topics, moderation, bbcode, etc), DLDB, message center, forums (polls, read/unread, go to unread, etc)

As long if its still there, no problem.
None.
Are tutorial keepers transferring to Wiki keepers?
None.
Not all. Atm there isn't much to do other than delete old versions, which there is none. Later you'd be able to delete old, no longer relevant discussion points and lock articles down. I'm too lazy to write out my expectations of wiki managers to give permissions out.
None.
Categories+Templates > stub bbcodes etc.
None.
Relatively ancient and inactive
.. Awesome.
EDIT: So, what's the relationship between tutorials and the Wiki going to be?

Bug: When the table of contents is long it gets cut off at the bottom of the browser window
None.
A lot of image links are broken. They can be fixed by changing them from
http://
maplantis.org/storage/wiki/image
to
http://
staredit.net/maplantis/storage/wiki/image
I fixed up a few articles already. It's a pretty simple find/replace.
Anyone can easily do it with notepad.
When I was working on articles for maplantis I used tinypic.com to host some images. As far as I know all of those links still work but it might be a good idea to move those images to this site anyway.
It would be really useful if we could upload images here. I think it would make for a good DLDB category.

Totally. That would save alot of time going back and forth to the different image uploading websites. I really don't see the point of a Data Base that one could look at and download others images, just one that you can upload, get the url, or even have the code generated for you. Sort of like imageshack.org

Lol, IP, your TOC reminds me of a feature I was planning on adding into my website:

That's where I got the idea from!!! THANKS FALK!!!
Bug: When the table of contents is long it gets cut off at the bottom of the browser window
I know. I dunno what to do about this. Usually, such big lists don't deserve to be in the table of contents as it's not really header points. If someone is going to scroll through a massive list to find an item, they could just scroll through the article to find them as they are usually 1 lined items anyways (.chk format the exception) or use the browser search feature. I thought about breaking it up to another column if the list is huge enough, but that depends on the user's resolution.
But this why I said "Table of contents floating on the side (
might need to change)"
And I'm lying falk

If you don't want to support IE you can use -moz-columns

Aw... You got me all happy

I'm a wikiHolic. Eliminating things like that will be like eating chips to me.
Also, another possible bug:
I just edited a few articles. The first edit showed up fine in the "Article changes" part. All of the others are not. The first showed up in a few seconds, the others aren't... showing up at all. Does it take a while, and the first edit was just a lucky shot, or what?
None.
the list is limited to like 10 or something and it's grabbing them in the wrong order. I'll fix when I have to do other fixes to the wiki.
None.
Should I transfer tutorial articles to the wiki, or will we be keeping the tutorial and wiki sections? (Or can you just mass move the tutorial articles to the wiki?)
You can transfer worthwhile articles to the wiki. Just make sure they don't exist already.
Tutorial will die off soon. I was planning on making an announcement regarding that. You have about 2 weeks to transfer anything important. (And one more week to get any old pms). Starting once it's a news item anyways.

You can transfer worthwhile articles to the wiki.
Now, the NEW question is: Which articles are worthwhile?
None.
Just add all of them except for doubles and remakes.
