Before Reading this post, Know this:

This is my first map official map, and I don't expect very nice replies yet, since I'm not as well known as some people on SEN. So please, don't be too easy but not too mean about this post.

Lockdown RPG


Storyline
The year is 2140, and the earth is scorched and burned. Nothing can survive on earth when the sun is up. However, besides earth's demise, humanity has survived. Underground. Huge networks and installations run through the earth's interior, sheltering nearly 9 billion people. Lance and his best friend, Jeff, are privates in the installation military, which acts as security. But latley, the scientists in the santuary have been experimenting. Things have happened, and they created an airborn infection. The infection spread, and now every single human is infected. All but a select few. Lance and Jeff, count 52 others, are the only survivors. The virus killed itself in the end, and the 54 personnel are starting to move. Their goal; get through the network and installation, down to the lab. But there is a problem; the entire system was sent into full lockdown. All doors, ventalation shafts, dorms, and even food courts have been sealed off 100%. And Jeff is the only one who knows all the codes to get into each place. With 8,999,999,946 infected creatures running about, their only way to survive, is to run.

Need any help with your installation terrain? Maybe some triggers here and there? This sounds "promising" :lol: and I want to offer my help if you need it. and Inferno, I'm just kidding around with you ;). This actually does look good. Althought, the percentages could be a little bit... higher. Good luck. Tell me if you need my help.

1 Question, how the hell does a disease infect 9billion people, surely someone halted it, and surely some people would be immune.

Your underground. It is enclosed. The infection is airborn, and you have never been exposed to it. It multiplys in the air rapidly, and gets in the vents. It easily infects 9 billion in atleast 3 days. ;) I will get screens, sooner or later. right now i need to just get settled here on SEn and then i will get them in.

Yeah, but it can't possibly spread that fast, someone would have locked down with forewarning at some point.

I added a screenie, I hope it pops up and is viewable. I had to take a shot from the editor, since my sc disk is lost ATM. Give me patience and give me trust :). You have to SAVE THE IMAGE IN ORDER TO VIEW IT!!! Remember that!

Sounds interesting. How does the civilian do damage? This is a pretty large rpg; I recommend making more enemy units, since the same units being killed over and over again may get boring.

Edit: Just looked at the screenshots, and something that i wanted to point out is that the infection seems to have killed quite a few rather than infecting them.

Well, this infection obviously turns people aggressive and mutates them. You would think some of the un-infected were killed by the aggressive, and maybe a tiny bit of cannibalism here and there.

Um because some shit is incurable...ever seen the movie I Am Legend...it could be based off that in the infection sense.

Storyline is nice.

I hope there is an element of puzzle in it. It's seems to me that trying to navigate the underground facility would be a big part in it.
