I'm a clarinetist; I consider myself rather mediocre, but then all the people that I know that are much better than me are going off to conservatories like Juilliard, Oberlin, and Northwestern, so I can't really say.
I have an E-11 with an M-13 mouthpiece for myself, but at school I make exclusive use of their R-13 1193 bass clarinet
