Bringing this back from maplantis, I was wondering how to get a Goliath Turret onto a Dragoon. Or, how to stack a goliath so its turret was on top of a dragoon. I figured out how to get the turret to stay in the game w/out crashing, but is there anyways to stack it/get it to stop spinning?

You can't get it to stop spinning, and you wouldn't be able to move it using triggers anyway.

What you want is impossible Zergling. Make a mod if you want that.

lol I hate mods, so Im not gunna give up yet. Forget the turret tho, can I stack just a goliath?

I thought the rule of thumb was 'if it ain't terran, it won't turret'.

Maybe you could do a bit of fiddling and make a terran unit have a dragoon sprite, then work from there?

Im assuming I can't get this effect with a tank or tank turret either then?

You can mix and match turrets on terran units, in fact, you can pretty much use other units as the turrets, so you could in fact set up an MG turret on a tank [maybe...]. How epic would that be?

And I was thinking of getting some small unit to go under it, like a broodling (disabled maybe)
this is turning into a lot of work for one unit.

Hmm... Well.... You might be able to stack and cloak drone, and then the drone could carry the turret and constantly stack on top of the dragoon, but that wouldn't unless both units were stacked.
