SEN MELEE TOURNAMENT We're here again... Sign up for a SEN melee tournament! We will commence whenever we collect 16 players for the tournament. All games will be best out of 3 method, and the maps are at of your choice on what to use maps inside the map pack download (below). But you may only get to use one map per round for a opponent. You will be required to save a replay for every game played. It is recommended that you launch through ICCup Launcher, where it allows players to autosave replays so accidents like 'I forgot to save replay!' does not happen. Your replays are to be posted on SEN, not PM'ed. The server will be based on USEast. Download Maps Post your ingame name and, contact (Messangers). I will be participating myself, but will not be the judge. The tournament is not held at a certain specific date. You and your partner will have exactly 7 days to get together and play versus each other. The tournament will start starting when 16 players fill in. When the tournament ends, all replays sent will be public view to all players. I am up for playing, with a month to work out times shouldn't be too hard on my busy schedule. ICCUP maps seem like a good idea for using, all balanced should give us a good tournament. How are the seedings going to be done? Should we tell you about our past pro gaming melee experience (when applicable) or is it just going to be random? If random, double elimination might be kind of cool :-). I remember the last one, I was up 1-0 before the server crashed and before I could report my opponent for using some sort of hack that let him select and move all of his units of a specific type at once. Hopefully this launcher prevents cheating of any sort and judges will help I am sure. Guessing you need to if possible have a judge observing for at least later games?
Anyways my USEast is: BW-Map_God@USEast I never check messengers anymore, but I check my email daily, easiest email to reach me at is Kow615@my.utsa.edu I think my aim is SWJ06, don't even remember what my contact was on ICQ or anything else, lol. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - patch 1.15.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Replays are automatically saved as LastReplay.rep. Of course, it gets overwritten every time, but it definitely helps. Concession of defeat should also be sufficent in place of a replay. (though we don't get to see the match, it can save time if neither player has it.) A Man said to the universe:
