Hey guys,
I'm working on a personal project, Here the deal:
I want to use 1 computer as "cars" and it would be cool if they could be different colors. I can't figure out how to do this, but I know it's possible i've seen it already. I thought of using P12(neutral) as my "cars" computer and give them randomly to other computers that are different colors then give em back to p12. I was wondering if it could work?
Thank you for further response
None.
Yes, they would keep the colors of the players they are given to, and as long as you give the orders to player 12 from other players in the trigger list, it will work out just fine.
None.
Thank you.
Actually I tried with P12 but I still have an issue, if player 1 is red and the car is exemple: blue, when I give it to player1 it turn red and well... that bother me... I was wondering a way to fix that. I thought of Setting Player 12 as Rescuable but I just can't figure out how to do this.

Yeah, it will change colors if given to another player, but as long as it stays under players 9-12, it will keep its color.

you can only apply very few things to P9-12. Setting them to rescueable is unfortunately NOT one of them.
You would have to give it to one rescueable player of P1-8 first, then place a unit of the target player beneath it to do the rescue.
Giving from a rescueable player with triggers does NOT retain the rescueable player's color.
Give it to player 12, like this
Player 8
Always (or whatever you want)
Give all "Cars" owned by Force 1 to Player 12 (neutral)
Comments?
Preserve Trigger
You can also have something that has an even number of cars, like a trigger that says Create 12 Cars for Force 1, and then give them all to Player 12. They will retain their original colors.

That won't work.
Triggers owned by P9-12 are ignored and never executed.
You must give the trigger to one of P1-8
EDIT: Someone delete this reply as soon as the above trigger is fix'd. Thx

Fine, then Give the trigger to 1-8... Doesnt make that much of a difference to the trigger.
