Yeah but my load times on my SSD are basically instant. The only advantage is that you can install windows in two minutes instead of six. I don't really know I don't think they're just worth it.

I wouldn't spend $5k on a single computer. I've spent ~15k in the past 10 years on around 15 computers. You can get so much more out of a $2000 computer and a $1000 server/$2000 home theater setup.
Ideally (if I lived in the south or midwest) I'd get solar panels. My parents know a guy who doesn't have electricity running to his house, he's got a generator for emergencies which runs on biodiesel, and he's got a projector and a laptop to watch movies on. It's a lot of work, but also pretty awesome that he doesn't even pay a connection charge. My grandfather in Arizona doesn't pay for his electricity at all since he sells it back to the power company.
