If youre talking about that Portrait On the bottom of the screen, all you do is have a transmission for that unit for a really long time.
You can Totally remove the portrait and just have the "white noise" screen (little black and white dots) by constantly having a Transmission going on and lasting 0 time. For the wav, just Make a blank wav by using the window's recorder, and it will be constantly playing a Sound that doesnt exist. |

I care not for your little life.

If I understand correctly, he just wants to have a different portrait appear when you only select buildings. Having an extremely long transmission would just make me angry, and the white noise transmission makes me angry also.
I like being able to have different portraits for different units. >.< ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Prepare to drop. |

For the P12 thing, could you create units for say, p8 and then give to p12?
Or give units to a player that isn't actually in the game? Say there's no p8, create them for p8 and have p8 in a different force so it's naturally hostile. You can still make the color of p8 blue or whatever you need. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I know its not totally what you expected, but i think youll have to cope. Because we cannot distinguish what unit the player has selected, we can only Guess, or we can have a delayed selected portrait.. (basically we find out if a unit moves... If it has, we can Assume that the player has selected it to move somewhere, therefore we will put up that unit portrait. Now, if this is a very important goal of yours... go ahead, check every single unit, and make a trigger for every single unit in the game for each and every unit's portrait... and even THEN it will be delayed, because we wont know UNTILL the unit moves.) Now, i have a map attached.... Once again, we cannot distinguish between race buildings, but we CAN distinguish between units and buildings, and distinguish unit from unit... But not Building from building... Therefore we cannot tell if the player is set on a Defiler's Mound or a Photon Cannon. So, either stick with one race, deal with it, dont use my method at all, flip a coin, play yahtzee,... whatever. (Have what you will with this) Hope i helped. ![]() |
