I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

STARCRAFT II: Backup Maps and Mods for safety
Quote from Blizz-Artestru
With patch 2.0.4 on the horizon, we’d like to remind all map makers that it’s a good idea to keep regular backups of all your maps and mods, especially any found within the StarCraft II installation directory. While we believe we’ve resolved the issue where mods were deleted during the patching process, it’s always good practice to keep both local and online backups of your hard work.

Also as a reminder, do not rely on a published version of the map if it has been locked. As part of the locking security, there is no way to fully restore a locked map you download from Battle.net. If you publish your map locked, you should always keep a private online backup of the unlocked version to protect your data in the case of hardware failure.

Patch 1.5 wiped many mapmaker's progress. To eliminate the risk of new data loss caused by the upcoming 2.0.4 patch bringing the new UI, Blizzard advises us to backup our work.
In case you use folders within StarCraft II installation folder for maps and mods, you should backup them immediatly as the patch will arrive relatively soon. this week, meaning NOW for some regions...

Update:
I patched to 2.0.4 with a small trick and it did not clean my maps/mods. So, there is no imminent threat. But making a backup of your files is a good thing anyway.

Method to fix the dialog item label color that is now enforced. Default setting was white, so all your labels are now white. To revert to their old behavior of using the colors in the text tags and the color defined by the style, you need to chose the "automatic" option.
Since it does not appear in the color preset in the replace value thing, you need to use the custom script (which is the actual value of the preset) to easily fix the problem throughout your map.

edit: This makes all images black, if you use replace all... Use it with care.

edit:
It is important to chose "Preset" first and then "Color". Else you won't find your labels and most likely anything at all.

So you can play customs offline....as long as they're from battlenet and not manually installed?

Also thought there was custom campaign support for a minute there.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

You can already play custom maps offline that are downloaded from places other than Battle.net, so I'm guessing that only pertains to ones downloaded through the Arcade.

Yeah but not from inside the game, so nothing's changed. Still some good editor changes.

You can access previously downloaded maps in-game by accessing 'Custom Game'. You can't play maps that are in your directory a la Brood War, which is still silly.

A reduction in the waste of space has been appreciated.

Chatrooms haven't necessarily improved.

The UI could use some more color and even less wasted space. The borders are still needlessly thick, the top right X could be red, and the menu system could be improved some more.

The optimization basically meant give my CPU a heart attack. I haven't noticed any performance increases.

Performance has in fact dropped.

Many basic features are still missing.

The UI is still slow and still doesn't take up the full screen. You still must scroll through the player list to see the whole thing. You still cannot search maps by player amount. There is still no local hosting. There is still no campaign support. There is still no mod support. The AI is worse than before, particularly at consuming CPU resources because it sits there and spins its workers around. Pathing still causes massive performance hitches that are completely unavoidable as the game stands; one hundred Zerglings walking across the map hitch more than hundreds of thousands of tris on-screen.

Welcome to Internia.

Reminds me, diamond regions, seriously? ._.

Why can't you just let us define them mathematically? Even parametrically would be okay.
