I'm sure a lot of you guys have heard of it by now, and a good number have started watching the show. I must say that this show seems a promising candidate for best anime of this season. It also has an awesome OP, so here it is:
So, by assuming the OP and ED are chock full of spoilers, I went ahead and overanalyzed the hell out of them. I haven't read the manga yet, so anyone who knows about details, don't spoil! I just wanted some feedback from other Mirai Nikki watchers and their thoughts on whether or not these are valid, based on how much they saw from the first three episodes.
My premature speculations:
Collapsable Box
1. Gasai Yuno is heavily injured/dies (OP animation, ep. 1 intro) 2. Amano Yukiteru is heavily injured/falls into a coma/dies (OP animation showing cracked glass, ep. 1 intro) 3. Uryuu Minene wins the survival game (She is transposed against Deus Ex Machina's throne in the OP, symbolic of a connection between her and the god of spacetime; she is also the only diary owner not to fade/disappear in the ED) 4. (Somewhat a repeat of 1 and 2) Amano Yukiteru and Gasai Yuno meet DEAD END (OP sequence showing DEAD END where the two of them are supposed to be) 5. Yuno and Yukiteru have sex (OP scene clearly showing a female hand sliding into a male one, then locking fingers) 6. A diary owner with glasses is killed by diary owner 12 (op sequence, look at reflections in the glasses next to the dead puppy) 7. Murmur is the evil mastermind behind all of this (evil grin that she hasn't shown up until now) 8. The fat diary owner (#8? According to the OP sequence) with the hat is responsible for 5 deaths (op sequence shows that skull with 5 around it)
Manga wise it was great and had some really good plot twists. I'm mad Steins gate didn't get a thread though, whatever.
Though I don't think that the OP reveals anything besides an item or something relating to each diary holder. Like the first knife turning into blood was from the teacher serial killer. You may not know it yet because you don't know who or what the other diary owners are like but they should one thing from each diary owner and I think that is all there is to it.
Though at least one of the things you said was true and happened in the manga.
the knife, the revolver, the puppets, the ball, the knife and comb, the hat obviously are all future diary owner objects. Echo says this is going to hit 24 episodes so they will most likely make a new OP revealing more things. Also the part with the dog skull and glasses are also sort of like a diary owners possession though I think it was more of an event that introduces one of the best characters of the show.

I'll be watching the first episode ASAP. I'll post my thoughts later.
At least watch up to the second (though with any anime the fourth is the minimum) before you decide on anything. I saw the first and thought it was total shit but the second episode made up for it. The first episode is completely rushed and is there to push the scenario so they can get the anime rolling.
I had read the beginning of the manga, so I knew this was going to be promising. Watched all three episodes so far and it's indeed very good. The last few minutes of ep3 was sooo awesome
I read the manga for this series and IMO it was one of the greatest mangas I've ever read.
SPOILER ALERT - Only for those who've read the manga entirely
So in Chapter 52 (or 53? Can't remember) there's a sex scene between Yukki and Yuno. By that point the manga already went from shonen to seinen (because of all the gore. And from what I remember it was pretty graphic). Will the anime be as graphic? Not that it's a bad thing at all, but IMO if this is an anime aimed towards high school kids then they can't possibly show all the decapitations/butchering/sex which would seriously detract from this anime's awesomness.
I am actually enjoying the Anime more than the Manga, which is the first time I have ever thought that. So far my thoughts are all positive and I just completed the fourth episode.
Also the MA, from what I have seen, this Anime has already exceeded typical adaptations.
I have no idea why I put Ganai down instead of Gasai or just Yuno for that matter.
Anyways I got a wild hair and decided to read the entire manga. In one sitting. Which basically means not moving for three hours.
OMFG GOD DAMMIT
I have never wanted to break the 4th wall so badly and prevent events from unfolding the way they are. This is by far the best love manga I have ever read with the best scenario possible implemented. Though I am currently typing this in tears after having finished the manga... In the end, I am so sad... If Deus can split his powers, y u no make a half n half for the second world? OH ITS POSSIBLE IN ONE CASE BUT NOT ANOTHER?! Annoying. And having heard Yukitero's voice wasn't enough to establish a love interest to at least create a happy ending and not a cruel twist? Why does Yuno have to be the victim in every scenario? WHY DOES EVERYONE GET TO BE HAPPY BUT THEM???
Okay nevermind, I decided to do some research and found out there was an addition to the final part.

Ultraviolet -- Agree, but GL getting any work on SEN done in 2024 lol. The (Price Per Ticket / 2) is the worst part of it imo, it's only worth buying in when the base jackpot is quite high and the price per ticket is quite low.

Zoan -- This new one is just a mineral sink most of the time
