I want to download this video for a project, but I can't figure out any way to download it. Every plugin I use works with youtube, but this is on discovery. I tried recording it with different programs like growler guncam, hypercam, and fraps, but the video was always upside down. I downloaded xvid codecs (not sure what else to download), but they were still upside down. Also, there's no sound when I record them. Usually when I record with guncam and fraps, it automatically records the sound, but I couldn't figure out a way to do that. The only options the two programs gave me were to use recording devices, so I had to use my mic to record the sound, which sounds really shitty. Even worse, guncam just decided to stop working on my computer while I was trying to edit my recording. It crashed immediately on startup, and now the installer won't even load. D: How can I download this video?K well the video records right side up now, but I still can't record sound. I found out that it's because I don't have stereo mix on here. I've updated my drivers and made sure that I can see disabled devices, but there's still nothing. I've looked online and there are a bunch of people who don't have stereo mix on Windows 7. All of the solutions presented are the things I tried, and none of them work. Anyone know how to make stereo mix work on W7?

I order you to forgive yourself!
It seems like they have some sort of dynamic streaming, it would probably be easier to get a screen recorder and get it like that.
Also, if you have access to the internet during your [presentation?], you can just create a blank html page with their iframe code.
If it helps, use this link to view the video only

Super to convert it to a more useable form
You can try browzing the source code (serach for common video file extensions like .avi) for the link to the video file, then enter in that address for a direct download, gl

Hmm video records fine now, but I can't record sound because stupid Windows 7 doesn't have stereo mix. I've looked online and tried all the solutions, but I can't seem to get the stupid stereo mix to show up on my computer. Anyone know how to make it work?
Do you have Wave in recording devices? That is pretty much the same thing.
Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.
For some devices, the built-in driver in Windows 7 does not have Stereo Mix or anything similar. If you get the driver from the manufacturer, it may add that feature.
By the way, have you tried any Firefox add-ons for downloading videos? This is one of the more popular ones; I've used it and it generally works fairly well:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/
None.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
How do I get to the audio manager? I can't seem to find it.
Can you get to it from the orange speaker on the taskbar? If so, that reminds me that I never had that. When I built my own computers, I had the orange speaker for realtek, but for this computer, there isn't one, even though the drivers were updated. I guess I'll try to update again and see if that changes anything. ;o
EDIT: -________- Turns out I didn't even have the realtek drivers installed, which is odd, since when I first ran the updater, it said it had uninstalled the drivers, even though I couldn't see any stereo mix before that. WELL WHATEVER. I fixed it. :3
