Slowly I have been realizing that listening to deeply emotional and powerful songs are beginning to stimulate physical feelings of enjoyment the more I delve into music.

Listen to the beginning of this in 480p please.

The tension of the melody that starts at 0:15, for me, stresses so much emotion. I found this song on Pandora, and I really love parts of it so much... What do you all think about all of what I said, and of the song itself.

Also please do not move this to music/art.

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

If you would ever take acoustic music and give it a chance to really throw up emotion triggering music, anything from Candy Rat Records has you covered. Some truly great stuff there.

My personal favourite piece of all time. If I am ever in a mood I don't want to be, I put this song on and let my mind wander into a better place.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Wow, that's a really nice piece, Loveless. Never seen such a guitar either.

If you like that, consider looking up some Michael Hedges. That song was very well done, I really enjoyed it.

It's pretty mainstream but I really love this song, musically and lyrically.

This cover of a really good song is also incredible.

It's been coined as a Harp Guitar.

Music inducing emotions/moods is pretty much the only thing I'm listening to. I also love music that surrounds you (which doesn't always induce a feeling).
I personally believe the sad/down induced-moods are much stronger in music than joy ones.
Anyways, here is some good stuff (listen to them completely! >:O):

Unfortunately, most of my most recent discoveries are too unknown to find a song on YouTube. :(
And well... I'm kind of unmotivated to look for my whole discography so... I'll stop it there knowing there probably will not be many people who'll actually listen to my recommendations.
If you like them and want more, contact me via PM. :)

Liked it and posted it on my FB last night, to much praise. Now everyone thinks I listen to music that's much cooler than I actually am

Is Mumford and sons not that popular in the states? In NZ they're pretty huge. I personally like Little Lion Man and The Cave a fair bit.

Red classic.

They're big here in the UK also.

But what do you expect? We (the Brits) give them Little Boots and they give us Miley Cyrus.

Edit:

In New Zealand? Where you invented rap?

I'll just leave these here. One each for wistful and joyful moods, respectfully.

Gj @ Fatso for listening to Gentle Giant. :)
I thought I had all their albums, but it looks like I'm missing this one. :><:

That track is the highlight of an otherwise mediocre album (mind you I'm not as hardcore into GG as, seemingly, most of their fans, so you might enjoy it anyway). Other tracks worth a try (at the very least) are Two Weeks in Spain and For Nobody, although they're both kind of silly.
