Alright, so we've got a decent following of LoL'ers here in SEN, so I figured we aught to spice things up somewhat. I've been throwing this idea around for a while, and since I can't sleep, it suddenly sounds much better. As of right now, there's no deadline as of yet to end the signups, nor any ETA of first match, so bear with me

First: Mineral rewards will be had, and a custom-made trophy will also be available, possibly for multiple criteria. Mineral amounts may vary, but before each contest the amount, additional categories, and/or other easter eggs will be posted. Yes, I did say "each", as I plan on hosting multiple contests. Hopefully the trophy(s) will look better than the quick job of the SEN text above.

Second: The matches will be "monitored" and recorded by myself. To keep some fairness, I will need one volunteer to stay on the other team, as to not give an advantage to one side. We will not participate in the game via feeding, farming, foresting, or any other means that would detract from the intended fairness of the game.

Third: The games will take place at regularly scheduled times, in a practice game, in draft mode, on Twisted Treeline. If enough members sign up, I may alter the structure of the contest to a round-robin pool.

Finally: I'm sorry that I must say this, but please do not troll, QQ, insult, or otherwise harass another player. I will report you, your mineral reward may be lowered or even taken away, and you can be banned from future contests. I don't want to sit in front of my laptop for half an hour or more, when I could be playing myself, and read about how bad of a sore loser you are. This contest is a privilege, not a right.


Individual's Rules:

1. You must be signed up in the League of Legends topic. Walk-ons are strictly forbidden. If you are not signed up, simply post here and include your summoner name and your list of purchased champions. I'll do the rest.
   
   
2. You must be at least Summoner level 12. If and when the spell "Flash" is removed, this level may be lowered to the next lowest spell.
   
   
3. You must submit your list of purchased heroes, either in this topic or via PM. See rule #2 under "Team Rules".
   
   
4. Because we will be using Draft mode, anyone with less than the required number of champions cannot play.

Team Rules:

1. Under no circumstances is cheating allowed, whether through glitching, third-party software, or any other means. Any person found to be cheating will have his or her team disqualified at the earliest available time, no exceptions. "Cheating" would best be defined as someone having an unfair advantage over another.
   
   
2. Teams shall be fair, to the best of my ability to make them so. I know this is subjective, but I have my ways. Mainly through the investigation of submitted hero lists, and the free champion rotation.
   
   
3. As mentioned above, matches will be recorded. These will be uploaded to my youtube, made private, and posted here. No, I don't want credit for whatever amazing killstreak you get.

I'll join the 1v1 tournaments, and spectate + record (if needed) some of the games too.

GAY! Let's have a 3v3 since 5v5 is most likely not going to happen.

3v3 sounds dumb, it totally kills the team play element and the game is balanced around 5v5 and not 3v3. Let's just spam OP heroes and win even more outright.

It's because Flash is ridiculously OP against people that do not have the ability to get it
I won't be starting it for a while, because I still need to work out some kinks, but other than that you should have plenty of time to level to 12. I'm actually thinking about changing that rule anyways to be that people can only use summoner spells equal to those that the lowest level player can use...

Because we can totally get 5 people on a team playing with one spectator, even if we could have 10 people get on regularly at the same time.

That's my next step up, but I doubt that many people will want to solo lane against each other on Summoner's Rift, or that we could get 8 people on at the same time.

Idea: Riot Games' new map will come out sometime in the next few months, why don't we consider that one?

That new map should be a 6v6, IIRC, and it's going to be hard enough to find 10 people (4v4 and two watchers) that can get on at the same time, let alone 12. In addition, it wouldn't be much of a tournament, because the teams wouldn't have many people sitting out each round.
