PyMS and ProTRG developer

I started learning how to make space scenes in photoshop when Apos posted his own creation, and started posting what I made in his thread over here. I've decided to pool all my creations together in a "gallery", from my first attempts to my new pieces, in this thread. I hope you can enjoy some of them.

Attempt 15 - Double sun

Attempt 14 - Added a glow to the sun, though I like the original better

Relatively ancient and inactive

Planets look alright, but the rings look oddly close and most backgrounds aren't much good (as in, unrealistic).
I went through a short space-phase back when I photoshopped; have some of them in this thread: http://www.staredit.net/topic/5575/

None.

Which background are the worst (obviously my first few, but other then them), and which are the best? And now that I look at it I agree, most of the rings do look a little too close to the planets.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

I like 6, 8, 12 and 13.

Added a new one. I like suns. And this time I went with a very plain background.

I order you to forgive yourself!

My favorites are the 2 and 9. (I'm currently making something really cool, I will post it here one I finish I guess.)

Number nine and seven look pretty balanced, and awesome. I like those two the most.

Try to make use of complimentary colors to break up some of the color monotony is some of those pictures, especially with attempt #1.
