Guys, in all seriousness, we really need to consider killing the mayor if anything points to him. We put him in based off nothing, so there's a good chance it was just a mafia started bandwagon. This has nothing to do with my wanting to kill the mayor for no reason.

The whole reason we didn't have a huge mayoral debate is because the mayor can just be lynched if we need to lynch him.

You totally forget that he could get out of it by voting for someone else with his greater pull to be lynched, and then lynch his would be lynchers.

Could you act anymore like mafia? ANYONE that would have been put in as mayor would have been put in for "no reason", by your standards. I got put in because I'm known to be good at the game. It's not like there are clues that can help us out much to see who is mafia, and who is not at this point. The mayor is a huge advantage to the townies if he is good, because he can help outweigh all the mafia voting weight, and you just want to arbitrarily kill him. If I didn't know who the village idiot was I would think you were.

That's why bodyguards are chosen AFTER the mayor is elected. The only people eligible for selection are ordinary townspeople with no other role.

There are quite a few flaws in that logic...

If we try to kill the mayor, then we end up looking for clues that are not really there.
If it was a bandwagon, wouldn't he have more votes?
