Share any and all FAILS encountered while playing SC2 here. Or WINS, for that matter. Either are okay. You do not have to be responsible for the FAIL/WIN to post it.

Mine:
-My enemy got six Starports, but only two Battlecruisers, two Vikings, and two Banshees.
-A Zerg player didn't realize that Overlords don't Detect any more, resulting in great lulz as four Dark Templar killed his entire force.
-I did a DT rush, but my enemy's Orbital Command finished just as my DTs began killing his SCVs. I expected GREAT DEATH of my DTs, but didn't think I could retreat them in time and decided to just do as much damage as I could. What ended up happening was that I killed all of his SCVs, and then he finally uses his Orbital Command... to call a MULE. And then, after the Orbital Command dies, he sends a bunch of Marines and Marauders, which promptly die to my DTs.
-A bunch, all from one game, PvP on Scrap Station:
--The enemy had killed my main, but I had claimed the island expo and he didn't realize it. I was able to play out of the island.
--While killing my main, the enemy didn't notice my Twilight Council and a Pylon which were fairly far removed from the rest of the base for some reason. This allowed me to build a Dark Shrine on the island expo (along with three Gateways ;o ) before it went down.
--The enemy had nothing in the back of his base, so I was able to sneak a Phase Prism into said area and warp in a bunch of DTs, some Zealots, and a couple Stalkers (after my second Core finished). I then hit him extremely hard with this force, and did massive damage. Everything except the DTs died to the forces he threw at them, but the DTs were like "no u" because he didn't think to bring along Detectors. I would have totally destroyed him but for a few Photon Cannons that I ran into unexpectedly. I then grabbed a Stargate and killed the cannons with Void Rays, resulting in gg - but not until an epic battle commenced between the FORCES OF GREAT DEATH AND OF EXTREME FAIL.

First game I ever played online in SC2: The guy I played against tried to rush me with spine crawlers. Too bad they all died of lack of creep.

Just happened last night:
3v3. one of my partners decideds to do a late (i've already got zealots out at the time) cannon rush to the back of one guys miners...it works, the guy quits
so just for kicks, he tries it on the next guy...it works, the guy quits.
then me and the other partner attack and easily kill the 3rd guy.

LOL!!! FAIL!!

I played a 2v2 where my partner got slaughtered and then I did too except one of my island expansions completely covered with missile turrets and siege tanks with 3 starports I held out there for 25 minutes slowly building up 14 bc with making command centers for supplies since i had no room. I won.

First match I ever played on SC2 (I guarantee there's gonna be a lot of these on this thread) I was Zerg against Protoss. It was the first match both of us ever played.

I built up a sizeable force of hydralisks and thought, oh what the heck, let's doom drop this guy. Well, my overlards were off and away when all of a sudden fifteen zealots and a sentry or two march into the front of my base and start trashing it. What do I do? I baserace him and win. Derp.

And just recently, I was doing 1v1 in Silver (I lost too many placements), protoss vs terran on Metalopolis. I proxy'd his smoke cloud. Got five DTs and six or so zealots and started trashing things. He scanned my main base just before I killed his orbital command. Go figure. Then he ragequitted.

2nd game I've played, 2v2, on the map where the a single ramp enters both players + their expo (forgot name). It was the "novice" version, so the ramp is clogged with destructables..

I was terran, So i figured I'd get reapers to thrash his base. One of the allie's SCVs got owned by me.. but my reapers died...
By then, I was teching to get mass vikings.. i got about 10-16 of them, and then i went in.. He got 1 planetary fortress, and a handful of marines. The planetary fortress owned most of my vikings, but was brought down...
The worse part is, he did NOT rebuild ANY CC's, instead, he had 3 Thors.... ... which he held in terror for the rest of the game.. which they eventually lost :D

Just today I played a random 2v2 on Arid Wastes, the one where you and your ally are furthest from each other on the desert tileset. Anyway, I was going fast robo and thus I didn't even have a sentry when our enemies (Zerg and Terran as opposed to my Protoss and my ally's Terran) noobrushed me. About ten marines and thirty zerglings charged into my base and trashed it utterly. Before I finally died, though, my ally built up a force of about four siege tanks, fifteen marauders and twenty marines. I gave him all the cash I had left (had no probe and no nexus left), and he promptly went and trashed both enemy bases - all the zerg had was a few roaches and some spine crawlers, and the terran had nothing.

Bear in mind this was platinum. I can hardly see how they could fail that hard.

I played more matches tonight and so far I'm up to 4th in my Platinum division. I hope to be moving ahead to Diamond soon, but my APM needs work and simultaneous macro/micro kills me. Any time there's a battle my macro suffers intensely, especially if things are going my way. It doesn't seem quite so important to keep building and teching if my foes are giving way beneath my awesome onslaught.

I was playing 1v1 TvT on Kulas Ravine. We reaper rushed each other but to no avail so we decided to strike early to mid game with decent forces. I went m+m+m with a few siege tanks and vikings and was working my way to his base (he was 11'oclock I was 1'oclock so I had to walk quite some ways.) As soon as my forces rendezvoused near his entrance, I see him drop m+m+m into my base. I had no units, no turrets, no nothing to defend with. My army wouldn't make it back to my base in time so I decided to attack his base at the same time. Like me, his base was left quite vulnerable (he only had marines and mauraders but they were easily wiped out.) He was destroying my base, I was destroying his, this game turned into a race to see who can eliminate each other's buildings first.

He was destroying my base at a much quicker rate since he started from where my SCVs were (I had to work from his entrance in) so as a desperate measure I floated a starport away towards his base where my units were. Soon enough I destroyed all his buildings but he wasn't revealed yet since he floated his command center away somewhere. My starport vs his command center, as I sent all my ground units everywhere across the map he loaded his units back into his medivacs and pursued my starport. However I intercepted them with my vikings before he could unload and then he quit. Thank gawd I had vikings, otherwise he would've gotten to my starport before I would've even found his command center (I checked the replay and realized that he floated it to the higher ground expansion which was blocked by destroyable rocks.)

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

2on2 twilight fortress.
I made eco, we got rushed. My mate's eco was nearly gone -> he left.
So I pumped out a force (with a few rines out of his barracks, too) and won the game...

Damned epic... I tried to search the replay, but my sc2 crashed while opening old replays which require downgrading.

Admittedly, I really should have scouted more effectively. That's my only mistake even if it is a rather severe one. If I had scouted more effectively, I would have gotten sentries and stalkers immediately, forgoing the robo.

You should get at least 1 sentry regardless of the build they're doing.

Another recent 1v1 on Scrap Station: This terran player thought he'd be real sneaky-like if he floated his cc down to the golden minerals. How unoriginal. I scouted it as it was almost halfway there, and instead he turns the cc to go to my base, and he tries to land it, but I keep building pylons where he's about to land it ^^

Was playing Terran for once, on Scrap Station. I managed to sneak an SCV and four Marines into a corner of the enemy's base that wasn't in use yet without being seen. Somehow. Anyway, I built a Bunker, then had the Marines run into his base. Once his Marines started chasing my Marines, I retreated them into the Bunker, and he just kept attacking and I kept Repairing. He lost a huge number of Marines and then left.

It's like they're summoning a mommaship or something. It's some ancient probe ritual of demonic summoning that summons a bloody TERRATRON OF PROTOSS BUILDINGS!
