Map Name: Martian Defense
Terrain: Ashworld
Size: 64x64
Players: 4
Version: PRE-beta
By: RineWh0re (Palathism)
Description: Kind of a new twist to defenses, having ground attacking from the bottom and, starting at wave 5, air from the top. Ground forces are on a 'Wave' set up. Air forces constantly spawn for a set period of time, gradually getting stronger with each ground wave.
Rather than purchasing units as your main defense, you can select either the [Gatling Gun] (Floor Gun trap) for ground or [Missile Turret] (Missile Turret?) for air whenever you get a [Selector]. This can allow players to either focus on the ground units, the air units or both!
Currently Need Help With: Testing Units, Wave Strength and Trigger Reliability.
In Search Of: Testers or Defense mappers that will give valid, legible feedback.

UMS assistance is for helping people debugging their map/specific questions on trigger mechanics (even though the title of the forum fits your request). Balance and such can go in the showcase/production forum. You aren't ever going to get anyone to co-author your map. I would also suggest attaching a copy of the map (don't worry about people stealing it, if you post it here, your name is forever on it) so people can play it alone whenever you have a working copy.
I'm putting this in the production forum for now.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
here's the advivce: give up, or finish it immediately. making maps isnt really going to work since no one seems to play much starcraft anymore, and it will only get worse.

Until SCII comes...
There doesn't seem to be a lot of places to defend against air units...
In contrast, ground attackers have too much of a wide open space to attack.
