What purpose does the private name serve?

The second name is incase the first name is in use. Ex. If there were 2 Kevins, I would be darkkevinyou.

So say I use LoveLess, does that mean I will have to basically have my last part of my name all the time? A lot of people like the stupid comic book or whatever it is.

From what I believe its like:

customname.myaccountname

customname can be be used by other players and this is what people will see in-game. this is like a child account.
myaccountname is like your parent account which holds all your "child" accounts

So if your parent account gets banned so does all the child accounts lol

From what I've seen so far (i dont have the beta but i've talked to a friend) to add people to your friends list you'll have to type in the child and the parent names

And the answer is! No.

It's "whateveryouwant.whateveryouwant".

The first part is supposed to be what you'll be known as, and the second part is just an identifier to make the whole thing unique (so there could be two zeegs I suppose, though that would look a bit funny in game, maybe it deals w/ that as well).

To add someone you need to:

1. Know their email address, and they must approve the add.
2. Know both parts of their username.

And now everyone post you login//pasword!
