We could have map nights, and we strictly play SEN maps so that they go up in popularity. I was one of those noobs that played the maps at the top, but only because I didn't know that I could see other maps. Not until I got bored of those top maps and tried looking for others.

You can host your own sc2 Map Nights already. Go on and make a News Topic if you want to host one. ^^

payne, that page doesn't exist.

I'm just saying that on map nights, we strictly play SEN maps... all night long. I bet even playing them a few times will get them up.

Try http://www.staredit.net/sc2mapnight/ and I agree with you, playing SEN maps all night long sounds good, not that I have sc2 yet :P

Red classic.

I have mostly left SEN except for the Temple Siege 2 forum (hidden to most of you). I am available via PM still, and Skype as JackRCDF.

If it is important to you, you will find a way. Otherwise, you will find an excuse. -Unknown
Magnificent!
Perhaps you shouldn't be on SEN as much, too...

zilean, check our forums, there are more... and yet it's not really bad that we aren't having that many maps, as the majority is still learning on how to use the editor.

Efforts on my map have been high. I plan on releasing a beta soon with SENs name plastered on it. And itll be a guaranteed succession with the amount of zombie maps moving to the top of the list.

SC2mapster is such a lame site anyway. After going through trying to find how to level heroes up, I stumbled across a tutorial, that required you to add XML code to the game and ghetto rig the features. I viewed Youtube and got what I needed "veterancy" in 20 seconds.

Point is, we should war, it promotes more active loyalists to a site.

Brb mapping.

Implement this. I can't imagine how nicer a zombie map would be with only a flashlight vision to see around you.
Not seeing your partners, what's behind you, and reading people typing "OMG, HELP ME!!!" and have some crazy zombie sounds == epicness.

There already exists a zombie map like that, I think it's a defense though.

Corpses sucks and do not incorporate this at all. If you aren't looking directly at zombies, you still see them, as far as I remember.
If you've tried the map in the link I posted, you'd understand that you only see what is in front of your units (you do not see all around you, only in front). You don't have vision of your allies either. This'd make the thing pretty intense. :3

Quick question, how do you set up the ability to do that. Is it liek some check box somewhere?

Corpses has issues, for example they need to change a few settings to make hold position work. 4srs

I already posted the map. :O
http://www.staredit.net/250750/

I perfected the system a bit over there.

P.S. You know you can go in "Map Status" to find everything that was modified from the initial creation of the map? It's very useful to understand how test maps work.

That's because we're cool and did SC2 Mapping before GE was released.

el oh el... "we should war." I think that's the last thing you would want to do.

Roy -- I think Kaias' goal is to have save files generated that you could use natively in SC, not to use a modded game to load data.
