Teroneko -- Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet shouted: NudeRaider Would love to hear any feedback you have. I'm getting quite close to a 1.0 release version. I should have started calling the current version a beta already, it's way past alpha stages
I will look at evening at it by scrolling to your profile which map you mean. :)

NudeRaider shouted: Teroneko I feel you. It's much more fun to do a project if you can get others to be enthusiastic about it and contribute. It used to be easy to find that here, but those days are over. Don't let that fool you though. If you need specific help with something there's usually someone with the expertise to help you out. Motivation though, you gotta find for yourself.
Yeah, true words. Myself I found the motiation to create a new CPU Cat map. :) Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet shouted: NudeRaider Strong vouch for this. Resources and knowledge are available in abundance here, what's lacking is folks who actually care about what you're going to use those resources and knowledge on. Mostly those of us who are here are focused on our own projects, therefore your (general your) project is mostly a distraction.
Yes this thought has overcome me too. It's like somone is specialised in sth. and ignores everything else. :D But luckily I got in contact with the developer of LangUMS :^

C(a)HeK -- greetings all, test #3 is complete http://www.staredit.net/topic/18203/
[2021-2-19. : 3:34 am]
xBc_Naka -- Also to what you said Ultraviolet for some reason west houses most the population for US servers in a reverse of how it was back in BW's prime.
[2021-2-19. : 3:24 am]
xBc_Naka -- Well for anyone curious I figured out how to get SCPM5.01 to work on windows 10Make sure you run as admin and checking "create uncompressed scenario" is also required. You also have to rename the map using default causes it to error out for some reason.
[2021-2-19. : 3:24 am]
xBc_Naka -- Well per a discussion from a few days ago per getting SCPM or equivalent working I found out how to make SCPM 5.01 work on windows 10 for me at least.

Ultraviolet -- Teroneko
Teroneko shouted: Ultraviolet Sorry, I will check it up what you mean by "consistently manages to fill up games in very little time"
I basically mean that games fill up (maximum quantity of players) within a few minutes. I haven't always had the experience when hosting different maps. Sometimes I have tried and failed for a long period of time to get a full game with some map and ended up failing to be able to play because not enough players would stay in the game at once
[2021-2-19. : 12:19 am]
Ultraviolet -- Teroneko
Teroneko shouted: NudeRaider I always play at night, so the USA servers are all pretty full with peeks of ~3000 online player and ~100 current games. Good UMS lobbies.
From my observations, usually USWest is substantially more populated than USEast. Maybe I'm just getting on too late for USEast (despite living on the east coast lol)
[2021-2-18. : 11:09 pm]
Ultraviolet -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Ultraviolet lobbies not filling up is my number 1 reason not to play anymore. I've always liked impossibles. Sounds like it's time to fire up sc again.

Teroneko -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Teroneko I already agreed that TL is more active. But it should also tell you something when there's not even a UMS category in the forums. They literally said in your topic that it's rocket science for them. So even if we are fewer here I don't think TL is the right target group.
Yes, this is so true. :D No UMS forum, i had to wonder at first and thought I am too dump to find it.
[2021-2-18. : 4:35 pm]
Teroneko -- I did not want to repeat nor to let you think I prefer TL over StarEdit or vice versa. It just makes me wonder why StarEdit stopped at some point of development to catch up with the meta which is definitely the progamer-scene. Here are so much great maps, tools and so on. It should become more attention.
[2021-2-18. : 4:30 pm]

Teroneko shouted: And yku're right that the people here are long established and well known, that might be a reason for not answering. But 400 views in two days vs. 300 views in 14 days here are an explanation too.

You are right, but these questions are helpful to improve its impression of the view of his program. Myself I think I have a good vision idea, and hopefully soon good program, but what is when no one does understand and quit before they try? :)

It's a small community, so the size of the user base looking for a new specialized trigger compiler is even smaller, and the size of the user base on SEN looking for a new specialized trigger compiler appears to be close to zero :P (also not meant to offend ;) )
Good point. :D

In my personal opinion, I would not just say that "[any] of us" is ever fine with existing tool palette of anything. :) I mean you just put it in a nutshell; you are fine with it, but others? :P

Cool, start a thread for it :)

C(a)HeK shouted: Teroneko it's normal when you make a short description, check this topic - http://www.staredit.net/topic/17425/
I think also many of us just don't have much use for that sort of thing. I'm good with point-and-click triggers combined with the occasional text trigger editing
[2021-2-17. : 10:24 pm]
Cynon -- Modified like basically other hero unit in Arsenal for not really any other reason other than I felt like it.
[2021-2-17. : 10:20 pm]
Cynon -- The one map that is playable is an okay defense map. Might be a bit too easy (if I can relax while playing it, it's too easy) but the concept is at least sound.

I am watched not only by English-speaking, but also Russian-speaking. If I speak English, then I will lose my uniqueness, since the first task was to translate custom campaigns into Russian and show them on video.

[2021-2-13. : 12:52 am]
xBc_Naka -- Actually speaking of maps, anyone know how to place a starting location on unbuildable terrain with SCMdraft2, I can't figure it out and it is preferable to my work around of just destroying the CC
[2021-2-13. : 12:49 am]

ya, rip quartic countoffs
