[2021-3-05. : 4:06 am] C(a)HeK -- Why don't I comment, but only write the text in the game? I will explain.[2021-3-05. : 2:43 am] Ultraviolet -- C(a)HeK, one idea for your videos: maybe you could type your commentary into some reader software (found this with a quick google search) to have the commentary able to be heard as well? I found when I was watching that I had to watch really closely to make sure I saw all your comments as you typed them.[2021-3-04. : 2:56 pm] IlyaSnopchenko -- Loved these videos. Inspiring to continue the development and to fix issues[2021-3-02. : 9:53 am] C(a)HeK -- greetings all, test 8 is complete - http://www.staredit.net/topic/18203/ [2021-3-01. : 10:06 am] Ultraviolet -- MTiger156MTiger156 shouted: Could try an automatic difficulty scaling based on player count. Turning down enemy HP and damage via EUD, or reducing enemy count? not really worth it to me for a one off contest, I feel like the point of an Impossible map is to encourage team collaboration anyway[2021-3-01. : 7:02 am] DankBudSmoker -- ok ive been a member of this site for 10 years now and i have -40 minerals?[2021-2-28. : 2:30 pm] GGmano -- is this 3d?? my eyes blury prolly but bælue and red colour looks 3d to me[2021-2-28. : 12:50 am] MTiger156 -- Could try an automatic difficulty scaling based on player count. Turning down enemy HP and damage via EUD, or reducing enemy count?[2021-2-27. : 7:59 pm] Ultraviolet -- Ya I heard that watching the vid, too. Was considering submitting Impossible Ultraviolet, but it's only technically playable with one person.. in practice playing with one person would be terrible[2021-2-27. : 5:52 pm] MTiger156 -- Oh, the full rules for submissions only appear in the Discord server. "Single Player Only" is a big oof since I'm only good at multiplayer concepts. However I will inquire about trying a multiplayer PvE concept that can be fully played and won alone.[2021-2-27. : 3:33 am] MTiger156 -- Holy shit, this "Maporino! 2021" event that just got announced... this is something that takes place every year? Damn I wish I knew about it sooner, this can be my huge breakthrough in motivation [2021-2-26. : 5:14 am] C(a)HeK -- hello all, test 6 is complete - http://www.staredit.net/topic/18203/ [2021-2-20. : 12:25 pm] C(a)HeK -- greetings all test #4 is complete - http://www.staredit.net/topic/18203/[2021-2-19. : 4:47 am] Teroneko -- UltravioletUltraviolet shouted: NudeRaider Would love to hear any feedback you have. I'm getting quite close to a 1.0 release version. I should have started calling the current version a beta already, it's way past alpha stages I will look at evening at it by scrolling to your profile which map you mean. [2021-2-19. : 4:45 am] Teroneko -- NudeRaiderNudeRaider shouted: Teroneko I feel you. It's much more fun to do a project if you can get others to be enthusiastic about it and contribute. It used to be easy to find that here, but those days are over. Don't let that fool you though. If you need specific help with something there's usually someone with the expertise to help you out. Motivation though, you gotta find for yourself. Yeah, true words. Myself I found the motiation to create a new CPU Cat map. UltravioletUltraviolet shouted: NudeRaider Strong vouch for this. Resources and knowledge are available in abundance here, what's lacking is folks who actually care about what you're going to use those resources and knowledge on. Mostly those of us who are here are focused on our own projects, therefore your (general your) project is mostly a distraction. Yes this thought has overcome me too. It's like somone is specialised in sth. and ignores everything else. But luckily I got in contact with the developer of LangUMS :^[2021-2-19. : 4:12 am] C(a)HeK -- greetings all, test #3 is complete http://www.staredit.net/topic/18203/[2021-2-19. : 3:34 am] xBc_Naka -- Also to what you said Ultraviolet for some reason west houses most the population for US servers in a reverse of how it was back in BW's prime.[2021-2-19. : 3:24 am] xBc_Naka -- Well for anyone curious I figured out how to get SCPM5.01 to work on windows 10Make sure you run as admin and checking "create uncompressed scenario" is also required. You also have to rename the map using default causes it to error out for some reason.[2021-2-19. : 3:24 am] xBc_Naka -- Well per a discussion from a few days ago per getting SCPM or equivalent working I found out how to make SCPM 5.01 work on windows 10 for me at least.[2021-2-19. : 12:21 am] Ultraviolet -- TeronekoTeroneko shouted: Ultraviolet Sorry, I will check it up what you mean by "consistently manages to fill up games in very little time" I basically mean that games fill up (maximum quantity of players) within a few minutes. I haven't always had the experience when hosting different maps. Sometimes I have tried and failed for a long period of time to get a full game with some map and ended up failing to be able to play because not enough players would stay in the game at once[2021-2-19. : 12:19 am] Ultraviolet -- TeronekoTeroneko shouted: NudeRaider I always play at night, so the USA servers are all pretty full with peeks of ~3000 online player and ~100 current games. Good UMS lobbies. From my observations, usually USWest is substantially more populated than USEast. Maybe I'm just getting on too late for USEast (despite living on the east coast lol)[2021-2-18. : 11:09 pm] Ultraviolet -- NudeRaiderNudeRaider shouted: Ultraviolet lobbies not filling up is my number 1 reason not to play anymore. But it should also tell you something when there's not even a UMS category in the forums. They literally said in your topic that it's rocket science for them. So even if we are fewer here I don't think TL is the right target group. Yes, this is so true. No UMS forum, i had to wonder at first and thought I am too dump to find it.[2021-2-18. : 4:35 pm] Teroneko -- I did not want to repeat nor to let you think I prefer TL over StarEdit or vice versa. It just makes me wonder why StarEdit stopped at some point of development to catch up with the meta which is definitely the progamer-scene. Here are so much great maps, tools and so on. It should become more attention.[2021-2-18. : 4:30 pm] NudeRaider -- TeronekoTeroneko shouted: And yku're right that the people here are long established and well known, that might be a reason for not answering. The 2 responses you got are "what is this" "what do you use it for". Most people here know that so nobody asked. You are right, but these questions are helpful to improve its impression of the view of his program. Myself I think I have a good vision idea, and hopefully soon good program, but what is when no one does understand and quit before they try?
