Jack -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: EVERY FRAME TRIGGER CYCLES FOR ALL
O_O
[2014-9-04. : 8:07 pm]
LoveLess -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: wonder if I could use EUPs to lower this... http://farty1billion.dyndns.org/euddb/?pg=entry&addr=0x006509A0&ver=1.16.1&plat=win
jjf28
jjf28 shouted: oh cool i can
Well this will make more complicated systems faster and more viable, but you could just make an EUDEnabler... More middle man please.
[2014-9-04. : 8:05 pm]
LoveLess -- *nyaa
[2014-9-04. : 8:05 pm]

Zoan -- YES!! I made some minerals on the raffle!
[2014-9-04. : 7:33 pm]
Apos -- :apos:
[2014-9-04. : 7:24 pm]
Devourer -- I CAN'T! :( (
[2014-9-04. : 7:20 pm]
payne -- ANYONE WANTS TO PLAY SC1 NOW?
[2014-9-04. : 7:20 pm]
Roy -- "Triggers: [ { Conditions: [ { Always } ], Actions: [ { Set Switch 1 }, { Preserve Trigger } ] } ]" equates to "while (true) { if (true) { switches[0] = true; } }"
[2014-9-04. : 7:19 pm]
Zoan -- also I'm joking, since that's impossible
[2014-9-04. : 7:18 pm]
Zoan -- ...cept with the quotey things in the right spots..
[2014-9-04. : 7:17 pm]
Zoan -- Well anyway, whatever the names for these things are aside, I guess I meant jj, "add a go to action to triggers"
[2014-9-04. : 7:16 pm]
Zoan -- Couldn't you have a goto statement make a section of triggers get run through various times, and wouldn't that then be like... a mini-loop?
[2014-9-04. : 7:14 pm]
Roy -- The whole "trigger cycle" system is an example of a loop. Conditions are examples of IF statements, and actions are examples of lines of code.
[2014-9-04. : 7:13 pm]
Zoan -- Wait, so what's a loop?
[2014-9-04. : 7:12 pm]
Roy -- That's a goto statement.
[2014-9-04. : 6:58 pm]
Zoan -- Is that what a loop is?
[2014-9-04. : 6:57 pm]
Zoan -- So the program would run through the same trigger multiple times in one trigger cycle :O
[2014-9-04. : 6:57 pm]
Zoan -- Actually I don't know any programming, but I'm assuming that a loop is when you have a "trigger" that has an action that looks something like: Go to section x of triggers and continue from there.
[2014-9-04. : 6:55 pm]
Zoan -- though a loop would be able to do things literally instantly, in a single trigger cycle, instead of having to go through the loop every consecutive trigger cycle
[2014-9-04. : 6:54 pm]
Zoan -- ohhh, I was thinking along the lines of being able to get those loops to loop instantly, but with near instant trigger cycles they would be near instant, wouldn't they haha
[2014-9-04. : 6:53 pm]
jjf28 -- loops...
[2014-9-04. : 6:50 pm]
NudeRaider -- what you're looking for is preserve triggers :P
[2014-9-04. : 6:50 pm]
Roy -- You can do loops already... just use a death counter...
[2014-9-04. : 6:50 pm]
Zoan -- jj, make it so that we can add loops into triggers
[2014-9-04. : 6:47 pm]
NudeRaider -- oh we can transform you to female before the burning, np ;)
[2014-9-04. : 6:41 pm]
jjf28 -- what else besides witches burns
[2014-9-04. : 6:40 pm]
Devourer --
[2014-9-04. : 6:35 pm]
NudeRaider -- cool jj sometimes scares me. He's like a modern age wizard. BURN HIM!
[2014-9-04. : 6:34 pm]
NudeRaider -- haha payne, exactly my reaction before I even read yours.
[2014-9-04. : 6:24 pm]
jjf28 -- EVERY FRAME TRIGGER CYCLES FOR ALL
[2014-9-04. : 6:24 pm]
jjf28 -- oh cool i can
[2014-9-04. : 6:14 pm]
jjf28 -- without executable code that is
[2014-9-04. : 6:14 pm]
jjf28 -- wonder if I could use EUPs to lower this... http://farty1billion.dyndns.org/euddb/?pg=entry&addr=0x006509A0&ver=1.16.1&plat=win
[2014-9-04. : 6:11 pm]
jjf28 -- mm, you may need some mathematical knowhow tho
[2014-9-04. : 5:52 pm]
payne -- Drinking is bad, kids, m'kay?
[2014-9-04. : 5:52 pm]
payne -- damnit; major fuck up. I drank too much last time, up to forgetting I had planned on meeting with my mother today. Won't have time to hitch the 200km separating us, so now I need to post-pone the rendez-vous. :(
[2014-9-04. : 5:38 pm]
Sacrieur -- none
[2014-9-04. : 5:27 pm]
Zoan -- Hey, how much programming do I have to know to do EUPs?
[2014-9-04. : 4:39 pm]
Devourer -- logitech keyboards <3
[2014-9-04. : 4:36 pm]
Dem0n -- someone buy me a blank keyboard with brown whatevers pls
[2014-9-04. : 4:35 pm]
Sacrieur -- dear god, $1.75 per clear MX?
[2014-9-04. : 4:30 pm]
Roy -- Of course, I use a WASD v2 because it's the best. :awesome:
[2014-9-04. : 4:30 pm]
Roy -- Ducky keyboards are also really good quality.
[2014-9-04. : 4:29 pm]
Sacrieur -- click click clik
[2014-9-04. : 4:29 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- Plus, I gotta head to work soon.
[2014-9-04. : 4:29 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- Well, I'll try to look into this some more. I've never seen any store near me with keyboards to test...
[2014-9-04. : 4:29 pm]
Sacrieur -- I'm using a Das right now <3
[2014-9-04. : 4:29 pm]
Sacrieur -- around the same price as other mechanical keyboards
[2014-9-04. : 4:28 pm]
Sacrieur -- they make gaming mechanical keyboards too
[2014-9-04. : 4:26 pm]
Roy -- Go somewhere where they have different keyboards out on display and test the different switches.
[2014-9-04. : 4:26 pm]
Roy -- It will last you ten years. That's $.04 per day for something you use all the time.
[2014-9-04. : 4:23 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- My friend is getting a mechanical keyboard... So I'll have to test that out first, since I probably won't have the money to buy anything before I have a chance to test it.
[2014-9-04. : 4:20 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- Das Keyboard... So expensive. QWERTY is already ingrained in my head... Dvorak would say to the world that I can't touch type. xD
[2014-9-04. : 4:15 pm]
Roy -- Learn Dvorak if you want to learn something new with your keyboard. Get a mechanical keyboard if you want something that types well and is reliable. The Das keyboard is a sturdy, dependable keyboard with mechanical switches.
[2014-9-04. : 4:15 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- I just have a bed...
[2014-9-04. : 4:14 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- Plus, I'm not into keypads... I like keeping it just my keyboard and mouse... I don't have a desk to support more than two items.
[2014-9-04. : 4:13 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- Rather than buy a cheap, basic keyboard that I won't have to learn anything on.
[2014-9-04. : 4:13 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- Generally speaking, I need a keyboard... I'd rather spend money on a dependable one with additional features to learn new things.
[2014-9-04. : 4:12 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- I don't need more RAM or PSUs... I waste money on things I actually need. :P
[2014-9-04. : 4:11 pm]
Roy -- Oh wait, Corsair has a titanium rated PSU now. Get that instead.
[2014-9-04. : 4:10 pm]
Roy -- Or a 1500W platinum rated PSU.
[2014-9-04. : 4:09 pm]
Roy -- You use keypads alongside keyboards. You should get 32GB of RAM if you're desperate to waste money.
[2014-9-04. : 4:08 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- The ones I've seen at least.
[2014-9-04. : 4:08 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- Keypads don't help with writing at all.
[2014-9-04. : 4:07 pm]
Roy -- You should just get a programmable keypad.
[2014-9-04. : 4:07 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- Be ready for the assassination, and be ready for the assassin's assassination.
