That sounds dangerous... It was. There was a good chance the whole plant explodes. They had to keep sending people in, exposing them to radiation to cool it and seal the leaks. It was pretty horrible and got broadcasted on every channel in Germany for a couple days. Yes it took days until it was under control. Needless to say the city has been evacuated. Germany has even revised their plans for their plants because it showed accidents can even happen when it's got strict security standards and is well maintained. So it's kinda strange you guys didn't even notice. |
