1S3S3F7E a.k.a. Squadron!: Star Fighter Extreme ~~~A Wingless Production~~~, 2004 Players: 3v3 (2v2 is possible but not recommended; 1v1 won't break the map, but it's pointless)
The second map in the Squadron! series, 1S3S3F7E is designed to provide a fast-paced, brutally intense gaming experience at the cost of any sort of player friendliness. You have been warned. Don't even download it unless you have reason to believe you can handle it. This map is several years old, and I can't guarantee that it's bug-free (there's a version with a missing trigger for antimatter shell impact against a particular player that often gets mixed up with the final version).
Tips: -Controls are located in the bottom right. Yes, they can all be clicked on, however much your inadequate selection skills may fail at accessing them. -Don't use the mouse for any part of the ejection process. This means that you must have, at the very least, your second control panel hotkeyed. Memorize the hotkey combination for eject (for instance, if you hotkey the second panel to 3, eject = 3V). Contrary to what you might believe, the eject system works just fine; if you fail at ejecting, it's because you were too slow. -Keep an eye on your resources. If they get to 20 (with prefix 10 for anti-camp rather than anti-turtle)...well, just don't let that happen. -Spam dragoons for gas (energy) whenever your APM allows. -Missile attacks are by locks. They have a 50% kill rate; the other 50% of the time, the other fighter will evade, you'll both be moved into the close combat area, and everyone else will be held in place to watch you fight. The tanks around the border of the arena, the shuttle, the zealot (jump) and the observer all have roles in close combat. Be sure to figure out what they do. -Don't assume that just because air units can fly over terrain in Starcraft, that they can in every UMS you might play. If you don't use the jump function, your fighter will just fly right into the side of the platform and die. -You won't be able to play this map the first time you try.
