I'm wondering if anyone has ever used it before. It seems pretty neat.

ive played Resident evil online with it. The whole idea is really cool except every game needs to be some sort of turn based game or it will be unbalanced or suck. Lag rules the game D:

still cool though. i used to do banners and shiz for ppl and their games.

I'm trying to do a game in it, but it's giving me seven different types of grief. But I can make it work... Eventually.

I (think) I said this in the thread 'World of Starcraft': This could be used to make a community version of WoS fairly easily. Anyone interested?

Anywayz, I can say this about BYOND: Some games are uber-easy with it, and some will leave you gibbering at the screen, wondering what went wrong. It depends on how close it is to RuneScape, actually. (Or any other top-down MMORPG, RuneScape was the first example that came to my mind.)

And no, it's not nearly as stupid as RuneScape. You can do more or less anything with it, if you are clever enough.

Anyway, I recommend this program. Tis uber.

I'm trying to, but I would need a pretty big staff. (eg. artists, voice actors, concept people, play-testers, and another coder would be nice) Plus, I'm not good enough with BYOND... Yet.

yea if you ask around in the byond forums theirs a recruitment forum i think. you can look for sprite artist (if your not gonna rip em from the game) and such.

Voice actors? i think that would be going to far, since trying to make the game with the smallest file size possible is presumably the your best bet for the game to take off and get popular. I mean with all the stupid Narutard and Bleach games that rape the entire byond database by stealing all the players >:l

What you'll probly need:
Icon artist (to make the characters 'n shiz)
Turf artist (what the byond community calls people who make the "terrain")
Coder (probly two of these)

For the lulz:
Someone who can host a server.
Somone to make gfx like a banner or ingame main Menu/Skin layout.

Good game, bad lag, BAD amount of upgrades for rifles.

Byond is just a modified C++

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
