Probe Building Stacking

If you blind a probe, you can sort of stack buildings. The bottom right corner of fog is very close to the probe, and you can get 1-3 tiles stacked onto another building. Works best with two nexus, pylons is cool too.

Don't know if this is already known or not yet, I told a few people about this already. I thought it was pretty cool when i did it.
Probably useless because it isn't fully stacked, but hey can do some new things with this maybe. The only really usefulness this has is like to wall better, or to limit direction and area of stacking. So players maybe don't stack more than 1 building in a spot.

Maybe this can go into a trick map. You get a neutral unit, a medic, and a probe. You have to make the neutral unit go across the wall by stacking a building ontop of it.
Or have to build a photon cannon halfway ontop of a pylon to reach an enemy unit you have to kill.

Just wanted to share this with you all. :)

I remember using this basic idea to build command centers closer to minerals than normally possible :P

How did that work?

You would memorize where the minerals were on the map, and then before you even explored and saw the minerals, you would blind your SCV, and have it walk closer than normal, just far enough away that it couldn't see them, and then build

I just tried that out, just as you said, and it doesn't work.

Maybe it's been patched since you tried.

It is old, but nonetheless still fun to pull off.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Yes, Blizzard patched that bug with the mineral distance. But I didn't know that it is still possible to stack some buildings with it.
