256x256 Jungle. The actual area where the invasion takes place is only 256 tall and 180 wide. Possibly even shrinking size more because the area is too large to fill the entire area up units buildings and terrain without lag or SC limits.

So. for theme, I'm considering a few ideas

Terran and protoss VS zerg, vice versa, maybe just a plain out normandy, I really need some more ideas because normandy lacks originality and T&P VS Z isn't the best idea. I really need some help there.

Almost half of the entire invading area us cut into half, that goes with the original idea to pick either terran or protoss and then the terrain siege the right and the protoss siege left. Anyway thats kind of vague, but i need a theme and some thoughts, when i get theme and a little bit more done ill post in map production.

How about a ''Battle of Tarsonis'' map. The Terran forces (Confederacy) must hold a map-wide front against unstopping Zerg masses for an ammount of time, till evacuation Dropships arrive. Protoss *might* appear, but I'd put them only as single warships, or a small battleship detachment, or, possibly, as an ability.

The Terrans would have to hold off various terrains, starting from open fields, to a city. Each area would be easier to defend, but the Zerg forces would become more numerous or powerfull over the time. The terrans might have some abilities, like calling in a Protoss air-strike, a Bomber drop (weaker version of the Protoss air-strike), a Heavy Artilery strike, Dropship reinforcements (More infantry or mobile support), and the ability to build bases.

Side missions would be to hold of the Zerg while small villages evacuate, holding off a comunication center or clearing an area for a dropship arrival.

I dunno.

;) Refresh your Starcraft story. The Sons of Korhal used a Psi Emmiter to lure hunders of thousands of Zerg to Tarsonis.

Fun for the whole family!

I've always liked air strikes / orbital bombardments. When they're well implemented in maps, they can add a lot to a map and its sense of place in-game. Try to include some.
