ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO
I couldn't post on the forums so I'll do it here
The game is okay graphically talking, it's not the best graphics ever but they don't suck at all.
However all of the consoles you make seem really full because of you trying to put everything on them. The first console on which I played the game was really uh, bad. It trapped me and I couldn't look anywhere in which there wasn't that console. The second console, yes, it looks cleaner, but you missed a very important part of it, the HP ammoutn, MP and EXP. You don't really need all the options you put in there.
I propose you this:
It actually took me more time than what I thought
As you see there's only 4 options. The "Inventory" is somewhat the replacement to three of your categories the inventory itself, the equipment and the character button. Putting spells under inventory is optional. The "options" button holds the basic options that you for some reason separate them like online list on the second and first console. The "chat" hold the chat button of yours plus the guilds, in there you can manage your guilds and chat with guild members only and a general chat overall and then there's just the quit button for people to quit.
An important part on my console is the random data next to the HP and MP bars. People enjoy looking at random data like that at some point you could, instead of location put map coordinates and develop a teleporting ability in which you must enter coordinates to use teleport to them and so on, you can see the level you're in, the class you belong and the quests completed, additionally this random data could be customizable as in you click the Options button and you can "check" the information that you want displayed there so you could pick if you don't like the number of quests there you simply uncheck it or change it to display something else like your pet's name.
I don't think the bars need any explanation so I won't say anything about them. I'll move on to that circle on top right. Remember what I said about random data? Well, that is random
for each class you should have a different symbol for example for class "Zombie Lord" the symbol is that one, the symbol would change given the class. This also breaks with the monotony of the straight line up there. The console is rather small and it leaves space for 627x453 on a 640x600 screen. Don't ask me where those pixels on the width get lost but they do
Anyway, I did this from speculation I do not know what size is your current GUI window.
The big second point that makes me unhappy is the limitations that the maps give you. Maps, or at least the open ground ones, should allow you to explore like on a real world, I don't care if I had to load every single part but they should really allow you to explore it and not just follow a path. It's good to follow a single line or be basically guided on a cave or a house/castle interior but on grassland you must go in the 4 directions (of course there should be limits sometimes) but this would give the impression that you're doign a quest on a big forest in which only the forest trees should stop you or some cliff but your maps are like Go left, Go up because a cliff blocks you, go right because the bridge is there and you can only walk on the bridge, enter the cave, inside the cave pick between two holes, I choose right, I'm out of the cave. See what I mean?
On grass land, should I can go up the cliff but I should be able to go right too because I don't like cliffs because I'm afraid of heights and go left because on the right there is a forest and it creeps me out and so on. I thought I would have had the time to make an example map but the console consumed the time I had, I'll see if I can do it later as I don't think I'm explaining myself too well. Notice I haven't said anything about the balance and all that but I'm focusing on purely graphical stuff right now.
Edit: Also, you can contact me or something if you wish me to help you to make a new console with your guidelines or give you that one. I also have plenty stuff that could help you to give the game that medieval feel.
