Embarq Online Security, comes with Embarq ISP. It uses F-Secure, pretty top notch.

I've been using AVG lately for a few months. I see it constantly downloading some sort of update almost everyday when I start my computer and I haven't had any virus problems so I guess it's working.

Only issue I had once was when it thought one Soldat was a virus so I shut it off for a while, but it's good now.

AVG. It's annoying because it updates every day, but it's been working perfectly for me, thus far.

I've never liked Norton. Don't ask me why..

Oh yea, I got Norton too, because it came with the comp. I find it pretty annoying and I don't really do much with it. It likes to suddenly run and try to scan the comp for viruses but I just close it. It also likes to pop up that damn "your subscription has expire" crap that I just instantly close.

Comcast comes with McAfee, though our university makes us automatically download and install Norton if we want to use the campus network. I think a decent firewall + non-stupid 'net browsing techniques > antivirus software.

I'm using AVG. When I bought my computer I got Norton with it. Installed it and uninstalled it 30 minutes later. It pops up a warnings for every little thing, so annoying :><:

Before I gave my computer away I pretty much just ran Windows Defender. I didn't get viruses. I new all the processes that were suppose to be running and never had any problems. Simply, I used Opera + Wasn't a Dumbass. Everything worked out great!

I've been using Norton Anti-Virus. It is pretty gay because I can't get updates anymore until I pay for it again. Why would I pay for it again if I already bought it for like a million dollars and installed it. It also misses a lot of viruses and spywares too. Such crap. Which one is the best anti-virus program?

The sword and the faith

NOD32. In partnership with Ad-Aware SE.

When your ready to drop your shitty anti-viruses, the brotherhood's anti-virus will be waiting.

For the more dull ill include this story of why NOD > your face, and your anti-virus:
My friend Nick isnt the brightest kid on comps. But hes decent. He had some shitty anti-virus, i think it was Norton, and if you have experiance with viruses youll note when a site popup trys to virus you, they do their best to look like a mainstream antivirus. This is what got Nick.

NOD32 cleaned out some 10k+ mallicious files from his computer. What once would barely boot with a hijacked desktop and ads like cntrl+n spamming windows, was 45 minutes later a smooth running example of the ass-kicking NOD gives to its enemies.

Trust the brotherhood. Step up.

Well in my opinion and others bitdefender is pretty much the best. Doesn't give you all those annoying pop-ups. It tells you what viruses are in a website (best part about bitdefender), scanning is quite fast and its all in one. It's better to get bitdefender rather than Norton. Had Norton before and while it did get rid of a Trojan it froze up my computer. And it refused to delete itself. So I reformatted the drive and got bitdefender instead. Never had viruses again.

Edit: Also it has a feature called gamemode where if you turn it on it will disable some of its programs if you want to play an online game. (Such as firewall,i.d locater ect.)

BitDefender is good, it wasn't very pirate friendly, however. I like NOD32 the best, though, as stated before.

I hate Norton, but it came with my computer and a free 90-day subscription, so instead of letting it keep popping up and telling me my subscription has expired, I reboot my computer about every 90 days, which gives me a new subscription :P

We live in a society.

My computer came with Norton and I couldn't stand it. It's too bloated and definitely not good for the power user. Ironically, you need the CD to UNINSTALL the program... and Symantec themselves came up with a Norton Removal Tool to download just to get rid of the damn thing.

I switched to AVG, and haven't looked back.

Heh, it seems like a lot of people had Norton installed with their computer and then switch to AVG.
