This map is my first try at a defense map as I wanted to have a go at trying to carefully balance a game. This map has one nice feature that I thought up:

Reinforcements: There are 3 beacons within your area each with a unit on top. If you bring your SCVs there then you will get a reinforcements with the corresponding unit, you only have one of each so be wise.

I doubt that you will need those reinforcements anyway, but hey, if its there then you might as well use it!

If you wish to take the map and modify/improve on it then feel free to do so, just don't forget to give me some credit. :bleh:

Last but not Least I would like to thank Spinesheath for helping me with the demonic and diabolical triggers ^^

Seems to me that you have some sort of knowledge in basic triggering. The map is some what of a defense game but it can go both ways because you have to destroy the overmind. I don't know if I am supose to be able to get all three reinforcements but I got all of them. The map was really easy though, I rushed all my units to the end and destroyed the overmind not knowing there was a overmind and such. All the units weren't modified at all except for the upgrade. From the upgrade I think you used staredit right? If you need some help in map making or need a boost, just contact me @ SiLeNtEcHo@USEast. You might want to start uploading screen shots next time though.

Ok thank you, right now I am working on a campaign map instead. I am much more comfortable with these. I agree that it is very unbalanced and could have done much better. Feel free to modify it yourself. :D

Good luck. Make sure you use brief cutscenes, animated portrait transmissions, and a lot of triggers. Otherwise its just another placement map.
