Do you think that Halo 3 is overrated? I mean, bungie has been hyping over the game for about a year now. Even with Halo 2, they were like " YOU CAN DUAL WEILD! " and everybody was like " OMFG! YEA!! ". Tell you the truth, I think the original Halo was the best.

Que Sera, Sera.

Halo 3 IS overrated, to be honest with you i think many people would like the half life/half life 2 story and gameplay more. But they cant get away from halo...

Halo 3 will be pretty fun, but the amount of reatardness going into it is silly. I for one am ecstatic for Mass Effect. It will be extreme!

Any first copy of anything is always better than the next versions. Halo 2 pushed it just a little, but dual-wielding rocked. But really, what's Halo 3 got to offer that we don't already have? New weapons? Who cares. Old ones did just fine.

Eh, I'll probably buy it since I'm a Halo fan and I do want to try it. I just hope it isn't disappointing.

Halo is overrated/overhyped. But it's probably because it's been the best selling FPS on the XBOX for two games now. :\

Halo IS overrated, but at the same time, they are very good games and very fun to play.

Halo 3 is just to conclude the story to the Halo TRILOGY. Have you ever read the books? =/

Plus it has pwnage graphics =D

I think Halo 3 is overrated, but I'm still going to buy it when I can. I actually kinda like the story behind the game, it somehow reminds me of Starcraft when I think about the Humans as Terran, the Covenant as Protoss, and the Flood as Zerg. That and the graphics look great.

Half life 2 has a better story than halo though.

Half Life does indeed have a nice story, and is another FPS I would buy if I had any income at all.

Halo 3 is overrated, but that doesn't mean it's not fun. Bungie has been working their asses off to make the multiplayer as fun as it can possibly be, as seen by bringing back the battle rifle. Is it going to be a big success? Of course; Halo 2 was a huge hit.

Halo 3 isn't one of my top of the list games to get. Just because I know its going to sell 9 million copies in one day. And I know its going to be good. Just that we have seen halo 2 and 1 before and its still going to be a really good game.

But ya... I dont think I made sense.

Actually if anybody knew, Halo 3 is actually setting the bar. There's the Map "Editor" (Not Map Maker), named as Forge while editing and playing online at the same time from editing boxes and weapons to respawn points. There are save film features, that is a replay system and a way to record without Capture Card and the ability to upload screenshots on your Xbox 360 and bring it to Bungie.net from wallpapers to glitches.
And also, they have "Equipments" used by the X button and this would remind you a lot from real time strategy games like the Bubble Shield is to the Defiler's Swarm but that's only one example. They have more weapons, and "support" weapons (Which was taken from FarCry) that allows the player to detach turrets, use a flamethrower and such. The "New" weapons and vehicles are more like "Pre-covenant". Plus Bungie is trying to keep everything balanced out.

It isn't overrated, infact they think outside the box. I would say, overhyped.

I don't know if you knew, but equipment is plural by default.

But you're right, Bungie is doing a lot more this time around than allowing you to hold two weapons. The gameplay has always been solid, they're just now adding a lot more padding around it with all these features like films and forge. I'm way excited for the possibilities.

I'd rather not get Halo 3 for the XBOX, and wait until it comes out for Windoze. Games are so much better on a PC.
