OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Just a couple of new things to note for GalaxyWiki:
Malpheus has brought his community, Broken Alliances, to GalaxyWiki. He also says he'd like to make some updates to the articles on there, so hopefully that'll inspire others to get cracking on adding more to it as well. I've got a few new tutorials to put up myself, so this'll be a good surge of activity hopefully.

Also, as suggested by Malpheus, I've added links to the participating sites' resource databases in the sidebar of the wiki.

>be faceless void >mfw I have no face

Sounds good. Although I don't think they've linked to it in an especially noticable way; it's way down the bottom.

Red classic.

"In short, their absurdities are so extreme that it is painful even to quote them."

We hope to become more visible in the actual tutorials and pages :).

Got a couple original videos in and will be getting the coalition of the willing together. Also, I've setup a rudimentary downloads page at my site, everything is either generated from the community or with conspicuous credit and permission from the author.

I think he means that there is no prominent link to GalaxyWiki like there is on all the other participating sites. Or rather all the other sites have "GalaxyWiki" (or in our and Sc2Mod's case "Wiki") in their navigation bars, rather than bundled with the other affiliates.

EDIT:
Then again, your promotion of GalaxyWiki on the SC2 Custom Map forums is pretty fantastic. In the past I found that I seemed to be one of the few who would basically say that SC2Mapster is the best SC2 resource right now, by far, but it is certainly not the only resource around. I'm glad that posts like this exist to help back that up.

It only took two years for me to figure out why no one was listening at Blizzard. There was a filter. You don't know how encouraging it is to see you saw those posts and that fight, and at least understand the position we were trying to take, you're the first person outside of our community to mention it. Thanks.

The "hope to be more visible on pages" was me giving a politically correct answer, meaning we don't expect much visibility unless we earn it :)

My focus and commitment for the next year is:

Rollout "EAGLE" Platform by June. - Malpheus/Third Party
Begin Custom Map Review Process (Reboot) - Trying very hard to find a good "leader" for this group, I can't lead every group, goal of just one map a week.
Tutorial and Asset Development - We've got about half a dozen truly active modders, they have agreed to start making tutorials again.
Support Map Makers - For maps that are being developed, we do what everyone else does, for maps that look like they are good, we actually buy the mapper a URL to promote their work. I also setup bug reporting and donations in their forums, notifications, etc.

I will commit to contributing to the wiki with all of our content and will promote it prominently when any opportunity arises, I'll be a marketing fool. I should have joined this effort long ago, and am sorry I did not :)

Vrael -- It is, and I could definitely use a company with a commitment to flexibility, quality, and customer satisfaction to provide effective solutions to dampness and humidity in my urban environment.

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?

Vrael -- Perhaps even here I on the StarEdit Network I could look for some Introductions.

Vrael -- Do you know anyone with a deep understanding of the unique characteristics of your carpets, ensuring they receive the specialized care they deserve?

NudeRaider -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I've also recently becoming interested in Carpet Cleaning, but I'd like to find someone with a reputation for unparalleled quality and attention to detail.
beats me, but I'd make sure to pick the epitome of excellence and nothing less.

Vrael -- It seems like I may need Introductions to multiple companies for the Topics that I care deeply about, even as early as Today, 6:03 am.
