Anyhow - I would consider lacking basic access to mains electricity to be somewhat of a 3rd world, not 1st world problem.
...it isn't the lack of electricity, its that I'm too lazy to go to any lengths to find a plug for electricity so I'm "forced" to use my laptop battery, which is so horrible, because you know, EVERYONE has a laptop.

That's because you generally don't use sensible electric jugs in the US, instead you generally use archaic whistling kettles that must be put on hot plates.

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
