Just wanted to let you know-
You can rename the locations and edit their properties for your purposes... It is much easier than dealing with triggers saying "Center location 23 on units in location 13." Triggers have many numbers already, and you dont need any more crap to deal with.
As for the crash problem... SC X-tra worked fine without any problem...
The map editors that allow both Rectangular Terrain and Iso Terrain (diamonds, normal terrain) basically have two different layers.
In Most cases, the Iso terrain Overrides the Rectangular terrain. It is the base layer, and you make rectangular terrain to suit your needs after the iso terrain.
You started the map (When you pressed "New") And created it using Rectangular Terrain, and therefore you can only use Rectangular terrain because there is no Isometrical Terrain "Base Layer"
SCMDraft 2 is one of the most ... erm how should i say it... "FreeBound" Map Editors, and it attempts to make Isometrical Terrain, however, to have it fit in with the rest of the "Rectangular" Terrain, it needs to put a border of "Null Terrain" (That black stuff you see) Which is basically... Nothingness on the map. (Isnt space)
Doodads Work Completely fine because they are based upon a Rectangular system, and Doodads Override everything else. You can put a doodad in, Draw some Terrain Under it, and then remove the doodad, and the newly created terrain is there.
I didnt want to edit your Map... But the Problem as to the crashing may be in the triggers. If youll Look at the Triggers after player 7 + 8. (at the top)
You Will see a blank for about 4 lines. I have not seen anything like this before, and maybe your Editor either. Another Place where the Problem might be is that you have Is at the Player Properties window. User Selectable Neutral Players dont work so good. Just pick a race and then Place the Units.
A third place where the problem may inlay is the 0 Timing. Looks like from the triggers that the computer creates a Nuclear Missle Right away. The Nuclear Missle's building time cost is 0.
I once made a map, and I had building times that were zero for units. (Firebat, Marine...etc) As soon as the player or computer built them, it crashed on me, and if you build like 2 buildings it crashes too.
0 Build Times can be screwed up if its not made with the correct editor. Im assuming that you first used SCMDraft 2, and if you did the unit build times in the same editor, thats probably it. Change the Nuclear Missle's Build time to 1, and it might work.
None.
