i have been trying out zerg units as a means of temp giveing blind units better range/vision. as a flash ligh idea. well.. when the trigger moves the drones/lings/burrowed units under your unit. and u try to walk. ur unit can bearly move (moves at a real slow rate...) sence i'm having no luck with this method.. is there any other ways of doing it? like useing disabled burrowed units or sprites?... something that is not air born. i only want the units to see to the walls like unblind units can not over them. come on raider.. i know u know somthing :P

edit: are there any sprites that can be placed that can be walked through and are invisible that still give vision? or even not invisible but can be walked through?

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

You know me too well... ;) Thanks for the good laugh in the morning. :D

Constantly (with hypers) moving an air unit or burrowed on another unit slows it down significantly. Just make a DC timer that centers the ling or w/e onto the unit every say 3-4 trigger cycles.

Sprites and doodads don't give vision. All sprites can be walked through. All doodads block the path.

But you can use map revealers.
Their only problem is that you can't remove them specifically. Either remove all or none. But creating is np.

Also you could place observers or w/e for the player (or a player with shared vision) and remove them in the same trigger in the next action. No unit will be seen, but it creates sight.

If you enable a disabled unit sprite out of the players vision then order it to move, depending on the unit, it becomes commandable and anything else can walk through it, and it has vision, but some units crash. I think that if you disable wait enable wait enable wait then order to move the unit afterwords, it will also become invisible, depending on the unit.

Also, you can stop the unit from slowing it down by CREATING it at the unit, rather than moving it there, if you create it, it gets displaced by the unit above, but when you move it, then it is not.
