Just when you thought I was extra well guess what? Now its clansareforgays time to shine! (Yay!)
Since you actually did get brainwashed (
Brainwashed? It wasn't like "READ THE BIBLE. LOOK AT IT SON" kind of thing. Its like an atmosphere but religion made up 35% of it. But Hey I guess you would still label that as brainwash. (yay!)
Next time, incorporate an example where a child was forced into going to church for most of his life
Well technically I was force to go to church because well babies just cant walk out like that. And the same for the rest of my years until now with the free will(boo!)
and then lost his faith when introdued to logic and reason. wait... that's me!
Logic and Reason?!? More like your
choice of just leaving and becoming an apostate. But hey, I guess that still counts as free will. (boo!)
Just goes to show Clansareforgays can't humiliate me. Uh,Oh! I think i made a rip in the space time continuum.
(boo!)

JordanN, your argument sucked because you basically said you were forced into your religion, then used the fact that you haven't left it to prove that one's childhood does not affect their decisions later.
None.
In truth, I AM STEAMBOY MUHAHAHAHAHA... or not.
Steamboy was a mutated robot that was infested by Kerrigan a year after the Brood Wars. She took him hostage, and did to him, what had happened to her. He became a twisted form of his former self, and knew that the only way to redeem himself was to piss off an Admin (in this case SupaMoose). He was banned forever from SEN and his curse was lifted... yet underneath that masked peered a familliar face.... Yoshi_Da_Sniper...

Wow, no wonder I'm getting such good English marks because of all these debates.
I only used force just so my example matches up to his. I chose not to leave it because of my own opinion. Not the years where I was forced to go or the atmosphere but my own personal decision that I chose myself that wasn't effected from the one I would of had before in the earlier years without a choice. My whole point was its not the parents fault. Its only you can make crucial decisions for your later life. In fact heres a better example.
Say for example I keep telling you this when your 2 until your 10.
"Frazz go stick a gun to your head and shoot yourself."
I'm not the one whos gonna shoot you. I'm just telling you to do that. Now you pick up a gun(when your 15 years old). I keep influencing you to shoot yourself. Are you going to listen to me or are you going to use free will? The answer is obvious. You don't shoot yourself.
So please, stop with your ignorance its making me tired.

So I take it you're unaware that some people actually are products of their environments. Plus it's not impossible for a resulting suicide due to a constant feed of hatred. Yes, in the end they are responsible for their own actions, but the atmosphere one is placed in does have an effect on the person.

You'd fail out of my English class in a heartbeat. You win at irony.
Dig a hole dig a hole...
The simple fact is that SteamBoy
could have chosen to change his ways, but didn't. Hell, he still can... if he came back and posted all right on a new IP, I wouldn't care.
Stinking moose, that was mine.

You missed one, Moose!
There probably should be a comma after 'ignorance' in that sentence, too.
None.

But that is what I've been trying to say earlier.

But that is what I've been trying to say earlier.
And in the process, you completely failed to acknowledge the fact that the atmosphere that you are brought up in still unevitably affects the decisions a person goes on to make. Think of it this way, if your parents hadn't forced you to go to church every week as a child, do you still think you'd have the same belief in god that you do now? That you'd still being to church at this point in your life whether or not you parents ever brought you as a kid? Basically, you're saying that everything would be exactly the same once you reach a certain point that you can decide on your own free will, which you arbitrarily defined, how you were brought up has little to no effect on your decisions. That's crap.

That's possibly a worse example. If my father kept telling me to kill myself throughout my entire childhood, I don't know if I would have made it past the age of ten in the first place.

Relatively ancient and inactive
First of all, he's a member here. I'm quite sure of it. We've had incursions like this - YaeXilliron, to name one. It was fairly obvious that he's one of us. Watching you. Watching me. Watching us all. Thinking, how could he leave a legacy, unknown to anyone else. Watching you. Watching me. Watching us all.
On a less serious note, in my arrogant opinion, parents simply influence opinions - what to think, that kind of stuff. Whether god exists. How they use that knowledge, becoming missionaries or being quiet, is up to them.

You have got to be fucking kidding me. Coming from the kid who doesn't know the uses of there/their/they're and rarely uses 'your' correctly, that's quite funny.
JordanN, in my eyes, you fail at English.
None.
Fails harder then this sentince.
None.
Most English teachers I've encountered have a heavy bias towards being, well, biased. Push the right buttons and get a friend to fix your "your"s and "there"s and you've got an A.

Kid? I stopped reading after that. Thus leaving your statement invalid.

Let me see. Current mark average for English.... 82. But hey, only in your eyes you say I fail. So I can say in my eyes you can't walk.
First of all, he's a member here.
Just like anyone else around here. But since there are no principles we can do anything.
Thanks again for holding up a topic. Bet you're going to delete this because I'm right.

Covering your ears and going "LALALALALALA" so you don't hear an argument does not invalidate it.
It does for him. Didn't you learn anything from 2nd grade, moose?
None.
Yeah moose common. It's the best way to win an argument.
If everyone did that whenever bush spoke, don't you know how far your country would of been?
None.
