Check it out here

I think I worded it in a nice and friendly enough way. And we are lucky on the EU starcraft realm that the mods are a bit sleepy. Must be all their siestas and frenchness [/blatant sarcasm]. So it could be a while before the post gets outright deleted. And I hope it will net at least 10 more EU mapmakers to SEN. Hopefully at least half of those stay active and if only 2 or 3 participate in EU Map Nights I'm happy.

:payne:

Pro-tip: underline all the URLs.

EDIT: Also, based on the reply I've seen, it looks like people think SEN isn't for them because it's mainly US-oriented... which isn't what we want. Let them know that SEN is there for EU people and -wants- to become a good meeting-spot for Europeans map-makers.

I think if I have to spell it out to people that "just because SEN is US, it doesn't matter that you are from EU, we can all get along" - that means those people are ultimately retarded. And I don't want SEN to be filled with retards.

Also, I'll underline the URLS.

I know, I was giving my opinion after reading this bit:

Alternatively, if anyone knows of EU mapping communities which host forums, etc. Could you please inform me about them?
Why do people need european mapping communities? God the people on battle.net (both 1 and 2) are idiots. :-_-:

Well, I hate to break it to you US folk. But the rest of the world is holds some pretty frank and nasty prejudices about your nation as a whole. Europeans tend to view the US culture and identity as alien and foreign, and just cannot associate with it. Good thing I am so liberal and open minded I guess :P

Okay, but it makes no difference if it's an american or european site. Besides, half the people on SEN are from europe. Also, where do people think all the good maps come from?

I'm not, and I don't have sc2. :-(

But a good amount of people are. Nude, Dev, Ahli, you. :O

Including the 4 you just mentioned, the only other EU person on here is Xycorax.

That makes a grand total of 5. You think that's a good amount?

wth is starcraft

I tried to troll that thread, but unfortunately my battle net account is linked to an authenticator, and I really can't be bothered with finding it. Also, protip: If you're going to get people here, creating a victory thread named roughly 'lol I'm tricking people into clicking our link!' isn't going to help PR at all.

Really I am just curious what he means by SEN is desperate to find new members? I didn't know any great strides were being made?

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Quote from Scyn on the EU forum
They quickly deleted it lol. I have a screenshot of their chat log, calling all european forum people "retards" and other nasty things.:(. Will post later maybe.
This is amazing. I guess its a good thing no one from the EU custom map forum wants to join SEN.

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
